To think Harry and Meg should be banned from the Queens Jubilee?

Why are they bothering?

They hate the UK, the RF, the whole institution and couldn’t wait to escape, accused the RF and British public of being racist, not welcoming Meg, or caring about her mental health. Her SIL even made her cry allegedly! They did a public interview about it being so hard being a Duke and Duchess in the UK that they just had to flee to a California mansion so they could be Royal there instead.

Do we as the public want to see them at a publicly funded celebration of our Queens 70 years on our throne? All they’ve done is embarrass the monarchy selling stories and their connection.

AIBU to think the Queen should have cut them orf?

[Yes, Andrew has massively embarrassed the monarchy as well but he didn’t flounce from the UK and give interviews about how the RF let him down.]

Harry is royal. He is born to the future king.
He can't get rid of that,he didn't choose it either .
He's had. Traumatic early life ...
The queen likes him...why on earth shouldn't he celebrate his Grandma special Day! Sans Netflix of course.

Haudyourwheesht · 28/05/2022 22:03

Could not care less. The RF have really shown themselves up this year, from petty family quarrels to harbouring sex offenders and actively preventing justice for their victims. Feck 'em all.

I don’t think anyone is defending Andrew . As far as I can see there is almost 100% agreement that he is an arrogant , horrible person but the thread is about H and M and whether they should be at the Jubilee .
It’s up to HM but I hope H and M keep a low profile .
I still don’t buy the racist aspect . She was warmly welcomed by the British public and I certainly never saw or heard any racist comments.
It was her ( and H’s) subsequent behaviour that caused the bad feeling .

< awaits pile on>

The fact that you don't believe a black woman suffered racist abuse because you didn't hear any of it is like me not believing Australia exists because I've never been.
Or, batshit. And, in your case, offensive.

Give up on this ridiculous shit.

Give up on this ridiculous shit.

They never will. It’s utterly bizarre to read repeated threads. But I suppose as long as the mail and Morgan carry on with their obsessive negativity, the great unwashed will keep regurgitating the crap.

Aswad · 28/05/2022 22:31

Can’t believe there’s a ‘bit’ in there in relation to Andrew. I can’t take you seriously

Spottyphonecase24 · 28/05/2022 22:40

There is no proof she took Netflix with her to Texas. The press didn’t even know she was there until she had gone.

Imnotgonnacrie · 28/05/2022 22:43

I dunno, would you be happy for a stranger to tell you that you can't have your Grandson at a family celebration, because he moved to a different country?

Wheresmywoolyjumpers · 28/05/2022 22:44

They haven't stopped being part of the family have they? Harry loves his grandmother, just not the press and the palace bureaucrats. And rightly so, they were treated horribly. Not that they are totally innocent. But the british press is so toxic, they did what they needed to. If they want to support her and she wants them there, why not?

Badger1970 · 28/05/2022 22:45

This image is all over Twitter. Not only was her appearance there (by private jet) distasteful, but to be checking that your photographer got a good shot of your "grief"??

This is the very reason why she's disliked, fuck all to do with her skin colour.

Imnotgonnacrie · 28/05/2022 22:46

I bet you "love" Diana. But are happy to treat her adored, traumatised youngest son like shit. I'm no royalist, but I have absolute conviction that Diana would have Harry's back completely and totally, and the hypocrisy of those who love her but hate him is just incredible (and makes me sad that there's people like that in this mostly great country)

RisingSunn · 28/05/2022 22:47

[Yes, Andrew has massively embarrassed the monarchy as well but he didn’t flounce from the UK and give interviews about how the RF let him down.]

Are you serious?? You are comparing an alleged sex offender to Harry & Meghan emigrating and airing their issues in interviews?!

You really can’t be serious.

Imnotgonnacrie · 28/05/2022 22:48

Also, there are many people in my family who have partners I'm not a big fan of. Doesn't stop them being family.

mumda · 28/05/2022 22:49

If the UK is so racist why do people from all over the planet make a bee line for the place?

Hahahah this is the most ridiculous post on the thread. Actually burst out laughing reading it, so thanks for the little entertainment tonight!!

The assumptions and reaching here just to fit the narrative that you want. Such a joke and to be honest, beyond pathetic and embarrassing.

Haudyourwheesht · 28/05/2022 22:51

herewithmyfrog · 28/05/2022 22:00

So Andrew is not a problem?
Nor cheating Will?
But H&M are?

Pleeeease.

Cheating is clearly not an issue in the RF. Maybe another reason why Meghan wanted to move her family away.

This thing that happened after everyone already hated her is why she's hated? Seems logical.

They're all obsessed with their image, even the Queen. She's just better at it.

FloweryCurtainTwitcher · 28/05/2022 22:55

Just piss off with your racism

Snowraingain · 28/05/2022 22:56

Is that you Piers?

SmiledWtherisingsun · 28/05/2022 23:00

Why. Do. You. Care?

Daydreamer7789 · 28/05/2022 23:01

you don’t ‘buy‘ the racist aspect. Really? She was warmly welcomed by the British public. Really?? Is this some sort of joke. Anyone with eyes and ears can see that the media as well as your average Dom Dick and Harry have been VERY racist to her. It’s not for you to decide she didn’t experience any racism when you haven’t walked in her shoes. It’s funny how someone can say, ‘I’ve faced racism since xyz’ and a white person (which I’m assuming you are) can respond and be like ‘well no actually you haven’t.’ How dismissive and downright rude

^ this!! As a black woman it pisses me off to no end when a white person tells me I haven't experienced racism. How the fuck would you know?????

maddening · 28/05/2022 23:01

So if your sil is unpleasant to you you should miss your grandmother's party?

StaunchMomma · 28/05/2022 23:02

@callmecatherine [Yes, Andrew has massively embarrassed the monarchy as well but he didn’t flounce from the UK and give interviews about how the RF let him down.]

Cus being a nonce isn't as bad as emigrating & airing grievances with your own family?

Unbelievable.

Dear god - I was about to query whether or not it really was a set-up for photos, but if that image is for real it seems to remove all doubt

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/05/2022 23:03

This. The chances of M not experiencing racism here were always slim anyway. As soon as she says it happened, that very slim hope disappears.
