I've read about this a few times, that poor woman, how awful. Attacked in what should be a safe place when she was at her most vulnerable, then gaslighted by the staff. Absolutely disgusting.

Typical gaslighting NHS managers... they all stick together but I’m shocked at how many seniors must have gone along with this for the complaint go get this far without anyone acknowledging or admitting to what happened to this poor patient. Yanbu it's utterly disgraceful. That poor, poor woman. Everyone involved should be sacked. This is what happens with gender identity nonsense and institutional capture.

It is a scandal and there needs to be an urgent investigation as to why between the NHS and the police there wasn't a clear understanding that people recorded on the system as women can still be capable of rape, given a woman had come forward and said she was raped by another patients.

They knew full well a man was in there. He can call himself whatever he likes but he's a man.

Poor woman - no YANBU, it's an appalling set of circumstances which have been enabled and then sustained by the (very dark and misogynistic) gender identity culture.

I don’t care what kind of gender people call themselves, the point is that everyone deserves protection from any kind of unwanted sexual approach by anyone and support and redress when it occurs.

This is where “Trans Women Are Women” gets you.

• Rape is defined in the UK as intentional penetration - with a penis - of someone, without their consent.

So the logic follows-

• Trans women are women

• Women do not have penises

• Therefore trans women cannot commit rape.

That’s how it works, right? Right?

Except we all know it’s bullshit, trans women are in fact male, the vast majority of them do indeed (still) have penises, and some of them do indeed commit rape. But this is a truth that must never be spoken because transphobia, and women like this poor victim here are the collateral that the TRAs and braying woke misogynists don’t give a shit about because men’s trans rights are more important than women’s rights.

It's disgusting but this is why some women and men are campaigning for biological women to keep their safe spaces and fights. The minute you disagree with that and say trans women are women, you basically advocate things like this happening as you know it's a possibility. They are still biological men.

Have they though? The only people I know who are talking about it are people who were aware of the whole shitshow nightmare already. It hasn’t gained much traction in the press, any stories have been way below the line.

I fear for my daughters but also my elderly mother.
