I’m a single 48yr old Mum of one.. I’ve been propositioned by a guy who I’ve chatted to a few times in the pub. I’m not entirely sure how old he is but probably late 20’s maybe 30.
I’m not after a relationship but just wondering am I unreasonable (or completely mad!) to consider it?

No I wouldn't do it, because in my case they'd be 13. But 28-33? Sure. There's unlikely to be a dodgy power imbalance there, especially as you don't work with him or anything.

No. I couldn’t. I’m only 19 years older than my eldest son though, which is definitely a factor in my thoughts on this.

No because they would be a teenager around the age of consent , even someone in their early twenties really wouldn't appeal

No, I personally think that big an age gap is wrong but....in this day & age, it's hard enough to meet anyone as it is so maybe not write it off completely. At least until you find out his actual age. Does he know yours? Don't put your heart & soul into it until he knows your age as he may not be comfortable with it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love men of all ages if they have something about them but I've found men in their 20s have more stamina, and if they're inexperienced then they can very quickly learn. I would do it if I was your age but wouldn't really expect anything else beyond a few shags.

When I was 29 I was sleeping with guys ranging from 19 to 48. If it's just sex, and both are consenting, it's really fine.

Would it actually be your business though? Your son is an adult, he can sleep with who he wants. And I imagine meeting any one night stand of his would be awkward, whatever their age. Basically this is an area of life adults are entitled to not want their mums involved in!
