Lapland UK queue support thread

So, I was planning on booking Lapland UK tickets today.

I had a work call that overran and I was 13 minutes late for the booking window. I'm now 71,369 in the queue.

I'm not going to get tickets, am I

Anyone else in the queue for tickets?

Disclaimer: I know there are FAR FAR more important things to worry about and I should just donate the money I would have spent to charity. I know! But....

I'm not in the queue or trying to get tickets but I was looking at it the other day and I'm sure my DD would love it (it's just too far for us to travel and then hotels etc. Make it too expensive) but I hope you get tickets its ok to want to do nice things for your kids and its ok to be upset when you can't do those things you don't have to justify it, people should be allowed to whinge about the mundane things in life!

Is Lapland UK one of those places where there's loads of social media complaints because it's really shit and they paid a fortune to see some fake snow and grumpy elves and the reindeer shit everywhere?

Thanks @Sidhdbej - I thought everyone would rush on to tell me to get a grip. Yes, it's exactly that - just want to do something nice with/for my little ones.

@BarbaraofSeville it's really not shit. It always gets amazing reviews even though it does cost the same as a holiday. We are very fortunate that we can stay with family nearby and so don't need to also pay for hotels.

I was ready and waiting before midday to be randomly allocated in the queue ... starting place was 34,000!!
Down to 23,900 at the min, not sure if I will get tickets either ..

Is this for Christmas? That's a long time in advance.

I was lucky and amazed to buy withing the first 10 mins or so, but last year it was a long wait. Still managed to get tickets for the slot we wanted. They do release at least one extra batch if tickets later in the year too. Remember some people will also be in the same queue on multiple devices and there are probably around 100 tickets for every single 30 minute slot through their season, so can't imagine there will be no tickets at all left. We went last year - yes, it was expensive, but yes, it was magical and worth it.

I was on from 10am and got number 39,908!

I’m now down to number 9,513 and still waiting

I just had a look for a laugh - 103,148 in front of me!

Isn't Lapland a bit too close to Russia though?

Have just purchased tickets for the date I wanted, have queued for an hour and a half but there was lots of availability still there. I'm sure you will all be successful if you are still waiting
