When will the rules change as I completely agree this is unfair and I expect that you will all largely agree with me.

For anyone that doesn't agree, please explain your reasoning to help me better understand.

This reminds me of the weightlifting story from last year.

People that are born female and people who are born male should not be competing in these events together. Our physical bodies are not comparable.

Have as many genders as you can think of, but there are only two possible sexes that you can be born as and that is what eligibility in these competitions should be based on.

Nichols describes herself as a former competitive swimmer so understands all about the training Thomas must have put in

One assumes that all the competitors at the NCAA meet have also done all the training ...

Except they didn't do the training for how to compete against a cheat.

I am old enough to remember the doped East German women in swimming in the 1970s - even the phenomenal Shane Gould couldn't beat them.

If we've found the correct person, "ex-competitive swimmer" is using a heck of a lot of poetic licence! I'd be sorely disappointed to be swimming those times age 14 with such a highly tuned training regime.

I don’t think it was the other Charlotte Nichols, unless she was swimming a sub 30 second 50 Free at age 8/9 in Yorkshire.

Also noticed how the BBC & GUARDIAN ignore all the trans committed rapes / Fetishist Guide leaders etc. Disappointing as I used to think they were decent news sources.

To be fair to the BBC, they published a very good article last year/early this year about the problem of lesbians being told they’re transphobes for not wanting to have sex with someone with a penis. It was very carefully researched and written, and they rode out the predictable bowls of TRA rage.

The Graun, however, disappeared up its own wokery a long time ago.

Just listened to a TW caller on LBC explaining how Lia has lowered her testosterone to exactly the same level as the other women, and has no advantage whatsoever. I can't decide whether that person really believes themselves or not tbh. It was right at the end of the show, so there was no challenge.
Weird thing.

If I say a woman is an adult female human, and that to be a female human is to have a body that went down the development pathway for ovaries, uterus, fallopian tubes, vagina and vulva, I get told I'm reducing women to the reproductive capabilities.

If a trans activist or trans activist ally reduces the female experience to one hormone level, though, that's fine.

Right.

I think it will be interesting as and when LT comes up against another TW swimmer. At the moment reports seem to say that LT is 'costing' and not winning by as much margin as they are able to. But if 2 TW were racing each other, presumably they would either have to fix the race between them, or both try hard which would increase their winning margin. That would show more light on how TW are biologically male with all the advantage that brings.

Also, apparently Lia(r) Thomas walks around the changing room with 'their' dick hanging out. So that's nice Hmm.
I wouldn't be surprised. Would fit the male entitlement / abusive behaviour pattern on display.

Yes Lia lost in a race where no championship points were in play.Hmm Also if transmen are men, why was Isaac not competing with them? Oh that's right , Isaac wouldn't even get a spot on the men's team, almost as if having a female body makes it impossible to compete against swimmers with male bodies.Hmm

So there is nowhere for trans men to take part in sport? Why oh why can they no just have birth sex as a pre requisite to the team you will compete in? Wear your hair and make up etc however the hell you like but compete fairly or be seen as cheat.

It's so complicated but wait, why is Isaac Henig, a female swimmer who identifies as a man, and who actually beat Lia in an event where no championship points were at stakeHmm,still swimming in the women's team? Must be complicated or maybe just because they wouldn't even get a spot on the men's team? These damn pesky female bodies just don't seem to have the same athletic prowess as male ones, even if the body identifies as a man.Hmm

Yes, that really annoys me when politicians fudge by saying it’s a difficult issue. I remember Lisa Nandy being asked about this and, as usual, it was “We need to have discussions and really sit down and talk about this.” Yeah, yeah, yeah…. But what do you think? Cowardy, cowardy custard.
