I really love the smell of petrol. My DH thinks I'm mad (because poisonous etc). I think tar smells nice too. Am I the only one?

Can't stand petrol but love tar and the smell of two stroke as a moped goes by on a hot day.

My smell preferences are very boring.

I hate petrol, paint, bleach, cigarettes, perfume, aftershave and strong cheese (I always thought parmesan smelt like vomit so loved the QI episode which said that they were chemically similar).

Love (some) flowers, bonfires and freshly baked bread and cakes.

Troll dolls always smelt amazing and i cant get enough of laundry and tumble drying but thats normal also good tobacco smoke and whisky. Also the smell before it rains and summer rain.

A garage which houses a classic car, especially if it’s a wooden garage, smells divine. Petrol, oil, leather, wood…

Yes petrol smells good.
When I was a child in the back of the car and my parents would fill up, I felt naughty for thinking it 😂
