I really love the smell of petrol. My DH thinks I'm mad (because poisonous etc). I think tar smells nice too. Am I the only one?

@duckme I love moped smell too! It's great in Spain or similar when they're all bombing about. Mmmmm

I also love the smell of a tack room where horse saddles etc are kept.

I love the smell of cigars, petrol, creosote, pine dettol, new plastic items (new pencil cases) bonfire smoke, crumpets before they are toasted, shoe polish in a tin and nail varnish (wanted to eat it when pregnant)

Also this. Been looking everywhere for actual French soap and not a chemical concoction.

The smell when you open a fresh bale of silage

Lambing shed when lambing is in full swing

But nothing beats the smell of a rugby changing room - sweat, mud, grass and deep heat!!!

sarie2468 · 17/03/2022 21:00

Wet pavement!

ThePoorWeeDonkey · 17/03/2022 21:04

@Longcovid21

Yes I love petrol. I have to stop myself deeply inhaling it. I think I'm anemic.
Is anaemia a reason for liking fuel? I've just been diagnosed with some kind of anaemia. That would be spooky.
