I think the F1 drivers are really attractive guys.

I got really into F1 the last couple of months and am just in time for the new season. When I started learning their names I couldn't help but notice that the guys are all really really fit, which I'm sure now has influenced my viewing lmao. I feel so wrong saying this, some of them are so young. None of them are difficult to look at though! Anyone else think so? Do you think they're attractive?

That's good to know as I'm a fan of his. I only asked as it seems a bit unfair to label someone as a 'not very nice person' when your opinion is based only on media coverage, and possibly bad editing, instead of having met him and forming that opinion for yourself x

Considering the upbringing he had with Jos pushing him and moulding him to be the driver he is I'm surprised he isn't an absolute horror.
Jos isn't a nice guy, he left a young Max sobbing at a petrol station once after he lost a karting race, he wasn't very old, maybe 8 or 9.

He's had a lot thrust on very young shoulders, a prodigy of two racers and he's never really known anything different. He's matured a lot this last couple of years.

You’ve obviously missed Lewis hamilton speaking out on many worthy causes beyond “cars and engines”.

Do tennis players only talk about rackets? Or teachers only talk about school?

So odd that everyone is commenting on them being short - which isn’t true. Are people somehow confusing cars with horses?
Typically they have been very short - Michael Schumacher was 5ft 7 when he was racing I believe.

Things improved a few rule changes back and now there is an effort to include enough weight for a sensible grown up. Just before that the limits were too tight and a driver ended up in hospital after a race as he'd been effectively starving himself to keep his weight low enough. Jean Eric Vergne I think. A few more came out to say they'd been doing similar and the weight limit increased shortly after.

Max is a lovely man. His mum was behind them when his dad did that, she was there to get him, and it’s not ideal parenting but if you want to get to the top of any profession there’s no phoning it in.

Dh used to work for Mercedes’ and the stories coming back from the factory about hamilton are less than flattering.

They all look too short and tiny to be attractive to me. But then I also think most footballers are too skinny to be attractive too.

Ayrton Senna - yes.

Nikita Mazepin - no. (Sorry Nikita)

Mazepin and Stroll also suffer from being little lord fauntleroys. Deeply unattractive. I could never find Verstappen attractive in a million race days, his aggression is uncontrolled and reeks. Same as Horner, they're two of a kind. Ruthless in a very ugly way. As for Hamilton: I was wondering out loud with DH last night whether, if he wins the title this season, he'll finally come out because my goodness he'll feel like the king of the world!

He was 5’8, so average male height.

A quick look at some British drivers from the 80s/90s (Mansell, Hill, Coulthard) shows them all at about 5’11 to 6ft.

His Dad and Grandfather have interesting histories of assault and wife beating.
As I say, I dont know how Max turned out as rounded as he is, but I do agree, nice bloke.

On the subject of not so nice, Gasly didn't exactly endear himself when he was in the seat and I I've heard whispers about Hamilton myself. I don't think his mechanics are ever enamoured with him, they certainly weren't back in the McLaren days.

Yes, he’s one of the shorter current drivers and is slightly below average height for a British man.

But most of them are above average height.

@Verstappen they do indeed. Max comes across as being lovely though. He reminds me of dh with his never give up attitude and lack of bullshit.
