£50 includes the baby shower room hire, present (collective) and transport costs to get there, as it's around an hour from mine.

No way would I pay anything towards the cost of a baby shower that I was invited to and the mum to be is a massive CF for asking

Is it going to be an absolutely amazing and spectacular event with lots of lovely food, decoration and a good time? If so I’d think about it, but anything less than amazing I wouldn’t pay to go to a baby shower
