No

LaBellina · 11/01/2022 12:35

Oh Lord NO

piney07 · 11/01/2022 12:35

😂😂

BaronessBomburst · 11/01/2022 12:35

I think you could get much the same effect with a cheaper pair and a bored puppy.

errnerrcallnernnernnern · 11/01/2022 12:36

It’s not about ‘money going spare’.

Just because you have £975 in the bank doesn’t mean you can afford shoes costing £975.

£975 is probably the equivalent of £50 for many well off people.

The trainers themselves are very nice.

NashvilleQueen · 11/01/2022 12:36

Maybe. If you could jump over buildings in them.

Builderscrack · 11/01/2022 12:37

@errnerrcallnernnernnern ok 😆

I could make myself look like a twat for much less than £975

Builderscrack · 11/01/2022 12:37

@BaronessBomburst very astute!

Balenciaga is know for outrageous designs. Its their selling point, I wouldn't buy these personally but for people into the brand they would probably love them. The brand has personally set many modern trends though IMO.

riromay · 11/01/2022 12:40

I would 🤷🏻‍♀️

They just look like a pair of Nike Air Max. Confused

I really don’t get the hilarity.

Howling!
Toottooot · 11/01/2022 12:46

Absolutely would.

Plutoisaplanet · 11/01/2022 12:46

I don’t think I’d spend £9.75 on them! 😂

Badabingbadabum · 11/01/2022 12:46

Nike Air Max on a springy platform?

If I had nearly £1k spare I'd try and bag myself a pair of Air Jordans. They will only go up in value.

Santaisstilleatingmincepies · 11/01/2022 12:51

Bet my teens would have them.
Not bought by me obviously!!

77kidsandcounting · 11/01/2022 12:56

Nike air max dont have a spring attached to them Hmm

FlaviaAlbiaWantsLangClegBack · 11/01/2022 12:59

I think I might pay someone else to walk around wearing them just so I could people watch as they walked by...

FreshandLively · 11/01/2022 13:01

Trainers are different though (for some reason). I know someone who makes a very nice living buying and selling special trainers. I've no idea if these would be them, but he's been known to invest over £1000 in a pair and turn profit

slashlover · 11/01/2022 13:04

I don't think MN are the intended market anyway.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 11/01/2022 13:04

Balenciaga are (in)famous for getting the wealthy and ridiculous to part with their cash. This jacket for is a perfect example…

To think if you had £975 going spare…
GnomeDePlume · 11/01/2022 13:05

I would be worried about a weight limit. I could see me flattening them in a single wear, reducing them to BaronessBomburst's bored puppy trainers.

Nutrigrainygoodness · 11/01/2022 13:05

I'll put them in my £1500 laundry bag 😂

Anoisagusaris · 11/01/2022 13:06

They have a big bloody spring yoke on them.
