No but I’m sure some would Smile

ErrolTheDragon · 11/01/2022 15:18

Yes. Yes, it is women's fashion choices that are being rubbished on this thread.

Er... they're described as mens trainers.
And the screwfix knockoff looks to be aimed at blokes.

Tilltheend99 · 11/01/2022 15:20

@errnerrcallnernnernnern

It’s not about ‘money going spare’.

Just because you have £975 in the bank doesn’t mean you can afford shoes costing £975.

£975 is probably the equivalent of £50 for many well off people.

The trainers themselves are very nice.

£975 is the equivalent of £975 for more well off people. £975 is the equivalent of £50 for people not in touch with reality who don’t check their privilege.

And they’re naff

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 11/01/2022 15:20

It looks like the shoes belong to a sprinter and the starting block has stayed attached

Grin

They look like a death trap to me. Do they actually bounce when you walk in them or are you just......taller?

uncomfortablydumb53 · 11/01/2022 15:22

They look like an orthotic device to meGrin

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 11/01/2022 15:22

Well, I wouldn’t but obviously some people would!

blahblahx · 11/01/2022 15:22

Ghastly

1forAll74 · 11/01/2022 15:23

Where can you go,wearing these awful things, can you go out in the rain wearing them, can you wear them at the Queens garden party,or a royal wedding etc.?

Tilltheend99 · 11/01/2022 15:25

Remembering the dignity of the Queen at her husband’s funeral while Boris was partying in a garden, I would say that even the royals have more taste. (With the exception of that cretin Andrew)
gallumph · 11/01/2022 15:27

@BalladOfBarryAndFreda

Balenciaga are (in)famous for getting the wealthy and ridiculous to part with their cash. This jacket for is a perfect example…
My local binmen have been on strike recently wanting more money and they are poncing about in these jackets. Obviously they don't need it.

I am DISGUSTED and am not giving them any more of my rubbish.

Good question. I can't think they'd be appropriate for a nightclub either with that not-very-concealed weapon attached.
OneTimeThrowAway · 11/01/2022 15:30

Not to my taste but I'd not complain about being able to afford them

Saw 840 quid socks the other day. Was thinking about getting 2 pairs so I can double up if I order my 1k trainers too big

Monzeitia · 11/01/2022 15:31

I think to buy that atrocity you need to have much more spare money to wear it ones and then throw it away, a celebrity perhaps

FourteenSixteenTwentyTwo · 11/01/2022 15:31

Was this from your bin, too? They seem to be making a killing routing through trash.

Emperor's New bollocks clobber.

SilverontheTree · 11/01/2022 15:34

Does no one say this any more?
“I can’t thoil the money.” It means that you can afford it but would never spend that on it anyway. Even if they weren’t hideous.

MysteriesOfTheOrganism · 11/01/2022 15:35

Wouldn't buy them for 50p from a charity store!

1dayatatime · 11/01/2022 15:36

Unless they allow me to jump over tall buildings and possibly shoot webs out of the toes then I think I'll probably pass on them.

Pazuzu · 11/01/2022 15:36

They look like knock off Nike Air with an ermmm whatever the hell that is attached.

Fools and money...

canary1 · 11/01/2022 15:39

That’s cheered up my otherwise miserable day!! 😂😂😂😂

LivingDeadGirlUK · 11/01/2022 15:49

I just had a browse of the trainer selection of this brand (which I've never heard of because I live under a rock, or don't have teens) on the Harrods website. My gosh they are all so ugly, and that's coming from someone who used to wear the ones with the spikes on the soles in the 90's :/

OhWhyNot · 11/01/2022 15:50

I’m sure they shall take on

Like those frogs feet toe trainers from a few years ago

MyQuietPlace · 11/01/2022 15:52

Christ, no! I wouldn't pair a tenner for them Grin
