hi! New to this all but I started a new claim for my daughter and it was received and stamped on 30th October, reaching 9 weeks and no response as of yet, any ideas of the waiting time ?

Ilovemychildren123. My son turns 2 last Friday 8.4.2022. And his not diagnosis yet still waiting. But his with other specialist.

@Sha2022 my son is 2yrs 5months no diagnosis but has lots of referrals and lots of reports etc xx

Ilovemychildren123. When they received your claim . Mine one back date since I call enquiry line . So I got back pay since October till now . All most 14 hundred pound xxx .

Anyone know how long take payment come throw in bank once decision made ?

@Sha2022 I didn’t call I just filled in and sent in on 1st February so assume it will be backdated from 1st Feb xx

Ilovemychildren123.if u don’t me asking u what kind of Evidence have u send I send my son medical report and my portage Sport latter that’s it as I am waiting for my son speech and language assessment . It’s next month . But my form was fill up with specialist .

I sent a letter from the Paediatrician which stated our son has global development delay and Hypermobility, I also sent all the letters from appointments that we have had stating that he is on the ND pathway for Autism, also non-verbal, referred for speech and language and then last week I sent in the report from Audiology which confirmed a moderate to severe hearing loss with another referral for further assessment. I found the form so difficult though so now feeling like they will look at the form and be like no but I guess I will have to wait and see. Our SEN worker has said most first claims get refused but if we get refused to let her know and she will do a letter for MR but hoping it doesn’t go down that route xx

@Amyxkx just to update you, we received back payment today from the reconsideration. He's been awarded HRM! Can't believe it. We were waiting 5 weeks and a couple days from the day we called up to put the reconsideration in. I've got my fingers crossed for you, do update us when you hear back from them 🤞
