If you are at relatives house with no bathroom bins where do you put your used sanitary stuff? I've been wrapping my tampons putting in handbag and putting them in the outside bin. I would always empty the bathroom bin and my periods are very heavy so need changing frequently., SIL isnt menopausal even my dad who lives alone has bathroom bins ??!!

Good point @RussiasGreatestLoveMachine.

I think it’s odd not to have one but FIL and his partner don’t either. I suppose it isn’t a priority for post menopausal women unless they use incontinence pads or liners. We have one with two sides for waste and recycling. Waste is mostly just pads and recycling is toilet roll tubes and empty bottles/boxes.

Also there’s no shame in putting a pad in the kitchen bin at all but I’d rather not transport my blood soaked pad all the way downstairs every time I change it, it’s just inconvenient.
