So not only has William been hectoring us about climate change and sustainable travel, but there's been a pandemic which has been a pandemic which for many people has been financially devastating, and for most of us a holiday seems a distant pipe dream. So this year of all years they have chosen a photo of themselves all looking tanned and relaxed on a (presumably free) holiday. Just feels a tad ill judged?

I used to quite like them but am finding them so perfect that they’re really predictable and boring now. Wish kate would just get shitfaced or do something vaguely outrageous instead of being so perfect and polished all the time

Yes totally agree, keep hearing how they are always watched, can never have any private family time, are always followed by press can never escape, well they manage fine as this shows.

Kate lived in Jordan for a while as a child didn't she, I thought it was nice to take her own children there.

Well, they're over privileged, a tad gormless, but well meaning in a very annoying classist way.

It's not exactly Christmassy either is it? It's fairly boring to be honest. I'd be disappointed if I received that kind of card for Christmas.

Kate spent part of her childhood in Jordan so it's not a random destination. The holiday was DEF not free. Lucky them managing to go away - but I don't begrudge them it. I think it's a really lovely card. William went alone on a royal tour and said how much he wanted to go back with his family - he has now proven that he actually follows through on what he says in his speeches, and that his sentiments are real.

Wealthy family of 5 spend luxury holiday abroad during global pandemic which has separated families long term or permanently and totally destroyed livelihoods, then publish photo for their peasants to admire.
