So not only has William been hectoring us about climate change and sustainable travel, but there's been a pandemic which has been a pandemic which for many people has been financially devastating, and for most of us a holiday seems a distant pipe dream. So this year of all years they have chosen a photo of themselves all looking tanned and relaxed on a (presumably free) holiday. Just feels a tad ill judged?

I thought it was a nice family pic but my first thought was ‘huh, they’re abroad in a pandemic and it’s very summery for a Christmas card’

Yes totally agree, keep hearing how they are always watched, can never have any private family time, are always followed by press can never escape, well they manage fine as this shows.

I used to quite like them but am finding them so perfect that they’re really predictable and boring now. Wish kate would just get shitfaced or do something vaguely outrageous instead of being so perfect and polished all the time

I think she looks really lovely, but I did notice she always seems to smile with her mouth open. I think I would too with her perfect teeth.

I think Jordan is a bit iffy but they're doing something lots of other people have done this year, trotting off on their hols to Spain or Dubai or wherever. I had no summer holidays and given our Christmas has been cancelled now (loads of friends & family are ill) I wish I'd have just gone and to hell with it.

Stuck right in my craw. I agree a picture of them in winter clothing at least, looking like they’re cold and wet like the rest of us, but making the most of it, would have been a much better look.

I’m sure we’re all paying top whack for their PR team, why aren’t they being better advised to look a bit less fucking out of touch?
