Speaking to a guy online. Due to meet this weekend. All OK no smut etc. However tonight on text he asked if I think I'd like him. I said you need to like yourself first and he replied I love myself every night with lots of laughing faces. Aibu to give it a miss ?

Yours was a bit of a weird response- I would have taken his comment more at face value- die you think that you like me with the contact we've had so far. Your response would have been a bit Hmm for me. His was also Hmm but it wouldn't stop me meeting him, I'd probably leave the inspirational quote book at home though.
