To not care what the government decided are Christmas…

Because my (small) family and I will be sticking precisely to our plans to get together. Just the children and me on Christmas Day

And then my 3 siblings and 3 children on Boxing Day.

All double vaccinated. 4 children and 1 adult have had covid (very mildly). The others, who knows!

Does t matter what’s decided. We will do exactly as planned

“To not care what government decides re Christmas”

Why do you feel the need to tell us?

TotallySuper · 29/11/2021 10:01

Ok good for you 👍

SusieBob · 29/11/2021 10:01

Do you want a medal or something?

JollyJoon · 29/11/2021 10:02

Why the "small" and "double vaccinated"?

You can still be spreading. Everyone is pretty much double vaccinated and it's still spreading.

KL29 · 29/11/2021 10:03

I did the same last year and will do this year. You have to make your own decisions.

Oftenithinkaboutit · 29/11/2021 10:03

Surely there must be some of us who are going to continue with Christmas plans come what may the government decreed?

I’m not talking 50 people party here

I’m talking 4 adults and 5 children

They have absolutely no intention of restricting Christmas.

@Oftenithinkaboutit tell us more about your Libertarian ways and rebellious spirit, you sound like a fascinating person.

Agreed Just hoping the ones with no sense of perspective don’t shout so loudly they are forced to listen

I'm hopeful they won't put in restrictions for Christmas but regardless, we're seeing family on Christmas day anyway.

I'm just praying panto goes ahead this year

HikingforScenery · 29/11/2021 10:07

Do what you want.
Whether double or triple vaccinated, you could still be spreading the virus.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 29/11/2021 10:08

I think if you don, just keep it to yourself

I’m not sure if you are telling us because you have realised this - using an anonymous forum because you know you can’t tell anyone in RL - or what?

Oftenithinkaboutit · 29/11/2021 10:08

@PurpleDaisies

Double vaccinated dh and I just had covid.
And - felt rough, tired, flu feeling etc? But nothing serious And not a whiff of a need of hospital care?
OP posts:
EmergencyHydrangea · 29/11/2021 10:08

Ok, and?

PurpleDaisies · 29/11/2021 10:08

I can’t work four weeks later.

trumpisagit · 29/11/2021 10:09

Well that's all fine.
Personally I am struggling to have much enthusiasm for the whole Xmas circus this year.
Hope you have a nice day.
