She’s 52…!

Tess Daly..had no idea, how amazing does she look for 52, ten years older than me. Just been reading she had her girls later in life too, they just don’t look like an ‘In their 50’s family’ 🤷🏻‍♀️
Are we all living longer nowadays? Is 50 actually the new 40 and 40 the new 30?

Well I'm clearly not comparing to the same people as you @julieca. In your opinion she looks around her age.

But celebs will have all the hair/makeup/botox/PTs etc so are bound to look better, and Tess already has the bone structure and good looks.

Might be quite exhausting though to have to put in loads of effort though.She can't go down Tescos in no make up for fear of being papped probably. Plus isn't her husband a bit of an arse? Can't remember now what he did though.

I would have put her at early 40's.

My DD would have been named Tess .... if it hadn't been for Tess Daley! However, as much as I really dislike her (as a presenter) I cannot say many negative things about her - looks and style wise! She looks great (naturally?) and dresses age appropriately imo.

she's also totally corrupt (cash for ash) and was the leader of a bigoted party so I'd rather not leave the politics aside.

She's pretty but I do think she looks like mid/late 40s, it's not a crazy difference.

Arlene looks older than Tess in that picture because she is frowning, showing her non botoxed forehead lines, squinting rather than opening her eyes wide and smiling to lift her face, has a haircut that is associated with being older, and has not used make up to even out her skin tone, and give her a glow. The angle is also very unflattering. She has a fair amount of facial plumpness, and with a different hair style, clothes and make up could look years younger than this photo. Tess's beauty and youthful figure would still make her look younger though.

Yep, and they - and everyone in their social circle - never have their first child until their early to mid 40s, they have university degrees (at least 2, + a masters,) from a red brick university, and their husband earns the low to mid 6 figures. As you say they are always mistaken for someone 15 years younger - (because the first thing people ask them is their age ) - and all their friends in their late 50s 60s, look 15 years younger too, have glowing high-flying careers, or their own hugely successful business a sexy 39 year old boyfriend, (as they dumped their boring moany husband who was the same age,) and they all have the figure of a 21 year old...

Tess Daly looks good but as many posters have said, she doesn't look that much younger than 52, and some of the reason she does look younger is the fillers and botox. It's not being mean to say this, it's true. Same with other celebs who look younger.

I think Tess looks fantastic and much younger than 52. I really hate how judgemental some posters are and how quick they are to tear another woman down. I assume it's jealousy.

Tess looks stunning it’s a combination of great genetics, hair and makeup and of course tweakments.

I’m no expert (although I have had a couple myself) but I’d guess definitely Botox on forehead and eyes and fillers in cheeks and lips. Possibly something done to her nose and chin.

I’d say most women on tv have Botox at a minimum. Once you’ve had it yourself and see the difference it becomes so obvious on others.

@Poetrypatty her husband was caught texting some ho about threesomes but the underlying story was Tess was ok/involved but he took the fall to protect her nice girl image.

She’s still gorgeous at 52, but shes had some work done, as has the majority of middle aged women on TV. I like her and was disappointed when she didn’t get rid of Vernon when he was messing about with the glamour model.She does not seem as attention seeking as the likes of Amanda Holden or Carol Voderman.

I wonder why it’s considered “ attention seeking” if an older woman still enjoys putting pictures of herself on social media in a glamorous way?

I've just googled her, she is attractive but imo doesn't look particularly young when I compare her to my work colleagues around her age.

How does Amanda Holden look better at 50 than she did 20 years ago 😲??? How is that even possible? And it's no good telling me she has had work done, because people half her age have had work done and don't look as good as her, in my opinion 😕.

I genuinely don't think Amanda holden does look that great tbh, she has had quite a bit of work, she seems quite plasticky to me, and she didn't need the work!

She is stunning. I prefer Claudia and her humour but Tess is lovely.

@90dayfianceaddiction I guess they are a pretty tight/open couple but someone had to take the fall and her career was bigger. Its not reported in the papers for specific reasons.

I'm in my late 50s. When I was in my early 50s I looked like I was in my 40s. I now look my age. In my experience up until about 54/55 women can look years younger, but then it suddenly catches up with you.

Tess does look great.
