Joe Lycett is a horrible misogynist. He has no place hosting GBSB. If he is allowed to continue then it proves that society does not care about misogyny.

God this thread is depressing...

So many people unable to detect scathing sarcasm. Which is what Joe Lycett does and which you would know if you ever actually watched/listened to his comedy.

But no let's all rush to cancel someone, no need to actually looked at what he's really saying. Let's just copy a 10 year old tweet out context and run with it...

I don't think he hates women any more or less than loads of men.

Jokes with sex offences/ violence/ upsetting women as the punchline are hardly uncommon.

And some of these tweets are pretty recent. He doesn’t give a stuff - because women bashing is “funny” and acceptable

I find Joe L incredibly annoying. Claudia was 1000 times better as presenter of the GBSB. He seems scripted and contrived where as she made it all look easy, he seems like he's trying too hard and isn't funny, she seemed natural and like she was making it up as she went along.
