I'm not assuming I know how other women feel. If you feel unsafe then you feel unsafe and if is legitimate to express that. You are perfectly entitled to feel how you feel, I am perfectly entitled to feel how I feel. I'm not the one who said nowhere was safe for PTSD victims.

The thing is we don’t know. It’s clearly a response to someone called Charlie. So we just don’t know. It could well be the most appalling thing said in living memory, depending on what Charlie said. But we don’t know.

However trawled through his Twitter didn’t provide Charlie’s tweet.

It’s not an anti trans thread. However it is true that lycett’s tweets were unearthed due to him claiming women were talking ‘nonsense’ in being worried about males in their changing rooms etc.
It’s hardly surprising that someone who thinks rape is funny also thinks that women should not have any rights to say no to males.

Joe Lycett can be hilarious! Last week on his show he single handedly managed to get General Mills - a MASSIVE American company who own Yop to change their bottles to a recyclable plastic! He even went as far as staging himself walking off 'Steph's Packed Lunch' whilst talking about the bottle issue, just to get people talking about the Yop bottles! He's actually quite intelligent.
