And we are supposed to be going as a whole family, with the grandparents, to France on Sunday.

Does anyone know how I can find out if I will be let into France.

There's a little arrow to indicate a drop down list next to each "COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca" line (beneath the qr code). That should give you all the details including the batch number.

My first one was Covishield according to the batch number although it's not labelled as such.

dianebrewster · 02/07/2021 12:27

@Thiscantreallybehappening

don't you see the bottom option under the QR code?

view Covid19 records

I have just found my batch numbers on the nhs app in your health, check your covid vaccine record. I think the covid pass/passport thing has has much of the info removed to protect the person's privacy as its designed to be shown to strangers.

Thiscantreallybehappening · 02/07/2021 12:29

Blush Blush

Thanks guys, I've got it. Yes, I've got batch numbers too. Didn't press the arrow, now I have I can see it all plus the centre where you got the vaccine from.

Sorry to cause all that confusion, no excuse but only had 4 hours sleep due to mum being ill.

yes, its all in the dropdowns

Thiscantreallybehappening · 02/07/2021 12:31

Anyway, how will EU countries know where the vaccine has come from, surely they aren't going to check batch numbers ??

The whole thing is red tape and ridiculous.

MGMidget · 02/07/2021 12:34

There are so many uncertainties over foreign travel at the moment that I wouldnt count on being able to travel anyway. Barriers are being put up by foreign governments all over the place (look at Malta for example and the requirement to have a printed vaccination record when EU residents will be able to show vaccination status on their app. I don’t think our government is the cause of this problem, its foreign governments. So much easier just to plan a staycation at the moment and do without the stress.

Thiscantreallybehappening · 02/07/2021 12:34

@RedToothBrush

Yes, thank you and I agree

Dementedswan · 02/07/2021 12:36

Mine says astra zeneca uk

Date

Batch.. pxxxxxx

BiggestJulie · 02/07/2021 12:39

@Thiscantreallybehappening Beneath the QR code on the app it will list each dose. To the right of the vax name you will see a carot (upside down ^). Click on that and you will see the batch numbers.

chipsandpeas · 02/07/2021 12:46

@TheGenealogist

Posters in Scotland - most posters on this thread are confidently saying "the batch is on the card" or "check the app" because they are in England.

In Scotland we don't get cards.

When I log into the NHS Scotland vaccine appointment list website (vacs.nhs.scot/csp?id=vaccine_appointment_list) it shows the dates of my 2 jabs, and that I have had Pfizer, but not batch numbers. I am assuming this information is recorded somewhere but we in Scotland do not have access to it.

same for me, ive requested a paper copy incase it shows the batch number
HeronLanyon · 02/07/2021 12:46

I really feel for those travelling soon but for me (one of the batches mentioned) I’m pretty relaxed as it will be sorted out surely and no plans to exit the U.K. for quite some time at this rate ?

Some of the latest reports look promising, and tie in with this:

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-57628123

and indianexpress.com/article/india/eu-green-pass-row-nine-countries-now-say-they-will-accept-covishield-7385145/?fbclid=IwAR00MflqGbldeAus54oKH5rRLpBkqXtPqO7yIo799_Syl9Amc4rSSrNCLFM

I agree that it's likely to be 'resolved' soon - here's hoping it doesn't cause too much short term difficulty (a la Malta's one day of declining to accept the NHS App).

BlackSwan · 02/07/2021 12:56

That's the short straw.

But - it does work. At least you don't need to worry about that.

RedToothBrush · 02/07/2021 13:00

The other thing to remember here is the sheer number of medicines that are made in India and used in the EU.

Its not something the EU are going to argue with too hard.

whataboutbob · 02/07/2021 13:01

We have double the number of new daily cases compared to Spain, and 10x France’s cases. Malta has negligible cases. It’s a wonder they are letting us in.

ClosdesMouches · 02/07/2021 13:06

My first one in March is from an unregistered batch. Second was in May and appears to be fine. At the moment...
We were hoping for a holiday in September to an EU current amber country, so this is just another hassle.

Thiscantreallybehappening · 02/07/2021 13:07

@chipsandpeas and @TheGenealogist

Have you pressed the down arrow at the side of that information?

That's where I was going wrong Blush posters pointed me in the right direction. Once you press the down arrow you get batch numbers and vaccination site etc

ancientgran · 02/07/2021 13:09

I had my jabs in Feb and April and not one of those batches. Wouldn't matter to us as DH is disabled so we don't go anywhere really, seems a shame someone who wants to travel didn't get mine but that would obviously be a nightmare.

Hope it works out OK for OP and anyone else looking to travel.

ancientgran · 02/07/2021 13:11

We probably wouldn't let them in if it was reversed, although thinking about Johnson maybe we would lay out the welcome carpet for them. I can't help thinking they are the ones being sensible.

no down arrows on the nhs scot website as far as i can see

Etinox · 02/07/2021 13:17

Step away from this thread OP, the entry requirements to France are complicated and there’s a lot of misinformation.
•You definitely need a v recent negative covid test.
•To travel without an urgent reason you need to be double vaccinated.
PM me if you wish- there are other things to take into account and it’ll probably be ok.

RestingPandaFace · 02/07/2021 13:18
**@chocolatesaltyballs22

Yes it does.

I've just checked mine on my NHS app and all mine says is:
AstraZenence, date of doses.

It used to have the batch numbers but they've changed it and now you go into Event or Travel.

If it states it somewhere else on the app, could you point me in the right direction, please?
There’s a drop down next to the vaccine name and it’s in there.
