And we are supposed to be going as a whole family, with the grandparents, to France on Sunday.

Does anyone know how I can find out if I will be let into France.

OP posts:

Can you explain what you mean by "unregistered AZ Indian one"?

TokyoSushi · 02/07/2021 10:14

How do you know? I had AZ and am wondering the same!

Mrsfrumble · 02/07/2021 10:15

The batch numbers have been listed in a few of the news articles I’ve read; the Telegraph and Independent have them.

Gladioli23 · 02/07/2021 10:16

This article:

Says that they all show on the App as the EU name so hopefully there won't be an issue?

Mrsfrumble · 02/07/2021 10:17

I’m due to have my second dose this afternoon and will definitely be checking. I don’t have any immediate plans to travel to Europe but I’d be mightily pissed off in your shoes OP,

OddBoots · 02/07/2021 10:18

Batches 4120Z001, 4120Z002 or 4120Z003 are the batch numbers of those manufacturered in India and not recognised by some parts or Europe as a Covid vaccine.

kimlo · 02/07/2021 10:18

one of mine is, but both show on the app as astrazeneca.

TokyoSushi · 02/07/2021 10:21

I've just checked and neither of mine are (May and earlier this week doses), I'm sure that they'll sort it out, but it's just one thing after another!

Pinkandpink · 02/07/2021 10:27

Sorry but I’m being thick here, where do you find out what batch you have been given?

ShameCloud · 02/07/2021 10:28

Mine is one of these… I’m buggered anyway as I’m not getting a second due to the blood clot risk but this is the fly on the turd!

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 02/07/2021 10:29

The batch number should be on the little card you were given when you were vaccinated, @pinkandpink

ChillyB · 02/07/2021 10:31

Oh I didn’t know about this and one of mine is one of these!

Pinkandpink · 02/07/2021 10:31

BalladOfBarryAndFreda
Thank you, I got my second jag on Monday so the paper should be in the car.

You were given and blue and white card and it will be on the nhs app
oneglassandpuzzled · 02/07/2021 10:32

A reminder not to mislay these cards and take them back to second jabs to have next batch registered.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 02/07/2021 10:33

These cards @Pinkandpink (image shows front and back of card). There is a field for ‘batch number’. Yours might have a printed sticker or a handwritten number.

underneaththeash · 02/07/2021 10:34

@ShameCloud that's daft - the risk of a blood clot after the second dose is smaller than the risk of it occurring naturally in a healthy individual. And significantly smaller than the risk if you're obese or take hormonal contraception.

daisypond · 02/07/2021 10:35

Mine is one of those too.

TeenMinusTests · 02/07/2021 10:48

My first is one of those.

Zilla1 · 02/07/2021 10:50

This is really unfortunate. x

VonWeasel · 02/07/2021 10:50

If you download the NHS app (not to be confused with the NHS Covid 19 app) it also tells you the vaccine batch details and lets you download the info should you need it for travel.

TheFairyCaravan · 02/07/2021 10:50

My first one is too. I think it will turn out to be a storm in a tea cup.

Why are you not getting the second jab?
knittingaddict · 02/07/2021 10:53

My second vaccine is one of those. No plans to go abroad, but how disgus

CarrieBlue · 02/07/2021 10:56

France is on the amber list of countries and you should not be travelling there anyway, so I don’t see the problem.
