Surely you would have cameras in a Government building and surely pointing it at doorways between different areas or departments isn't a bad idea.

His behaviour is fascinating. I can't help hoping there's a bigger mastermind who is about to release damning gossip about Cummings. Two critical reasons why I think the government did pretty well

I'm not sure my and DHs families would share your view. SIL hadn't been self employed long enough to qualify for the SE grant snd being a beautician couldn't work for substantial periods of time. BIL desperately needs an operation and is in constant pain but the waiting time has gone up from 3 to.12 months. My other BIL got caught in the same self employed void and his area of work.has disappeared completely adxs result of covid. My DF was admitted to hospital 5 times in 3 months and nearly died because his GP wouldn't see him face to face resulting in a serious misdiagnosis. My mother's dementia has worsened significantly through lack of social contact snd my disabled MIL got too scared to even go in her garden. But you're OK so all is well with the world.

He broke lockdown rules whilst thousands of families couldnt be with their dying relatives. My daughters partner had covid. She last saw him at the door ICU she couldnt even touch him. This was on 5th November last year. She never saw him again until his funeral 3 weeks later and then he was inside a wooden box.They wouldnt even let her see his body. All that time Hancock was probably having it away with his bit on the side.

myleghurts oh my god, that is absolutely shocking. Your poor daughter. I hope she is coping as well as she can be. That is so so sad.

I do think people were furious about this, quite rightly. If you want these positions in Government... like Hancock did, like Cummings did... you just have to be whiter than white.
Unfortunately that is not the case with those two.

I know we are almost beyond being shocked at this Government but Hancock's actions - during the most traumatic time most of us have ever lived through - just appal me, he has stuck two fingers up at us all.

'Sorry' doesn't cover it. Not only has he - the Secretary of State for Health! - exposed his own family and friends to COVID risk, he has shat on the rest of us too. I spent several months of lockdown trying to work from home and care for my disabled DS....all his usual care plans lost as we couldn't have carers for months and months. My DS shows signs of being traumatised by what he has been through over the past year.

I know we are not the worst off, many have lost their lives and many bereaved have been unable to attend their loved ones' funerals. And people accepted all of this as they were told it was the right thing to do to safeguard everyone, by the Health Secretary and the Government.

Now it turns out that all along the Health Secretary was doing just what he felt like doing while the rest of us made sacrifices. And got his new woman a 'job' to facilitate his affair, at the same time when people were losing jobs and businesses going under due to Covid.

Anyone who isn't outraged by this damn well should be.
