Wow! I don't think I've ever seen such a perfect couple. She looks incredible - radiant, Boris looks handsome as hell and they are absolutely made for each other. Let me be absolutely clear - this is a marriage made in heaven and one of the great romantic stories of our time has now been consecrated in holy matrimony.

A tale for the ages of love conquering all. With the love of this brilliant woman, I'm certain our wonderful PM can lead us all into better time, sparking off an incredible post Covid golden age that allows every person in this country to prosper and flourish. Watch the £ fly, just like Boris will go from strength to strength I have no doubt sterling will too. It's so Inspiring!

Salute Carrie and Boris! Yours is a story that will be told to future generations as the greatest love of all.

Are you drunk?

The greatest love of all?! Bog off!!

IndecentCakes · 02/06/2021 21:32

Everyone's favourite newspaper offers a charming snap of Boris with just a few of his kids.

This gave me a smile! Why are people so serious on this thread?!

honeygirlz · 02/06/2021 22:15

@littlepattilou

Nope. Some of us just dislike silly attention-seeking pointless threads.

This comment reeks of jealousy.

CirqueDeMorgue · 02/06/2021 22:18

OP, this is one of the best OPs I have EVER seen on here, thank you!

newnortherner111 · 02/06/2021 22:21

I do agree with the OP that Carrie and Boris Johnson will be a story told to future generations. So his Henry VIII and his six wives, with his nasty sidekick Thomas Cromwell who he fell out with.

Sinthie · 02/06/2021 22:30

Is this for real??? Wtaf 😳

Sinthie · 02/06/2021 22:33

Read a few more post now 😆😆😆

OneAlabamaReturn · 02/06/2021 23:09

I'm basking in the sunlit uplands here, a cheap pint of ale on the cusp of its sell by date from Brexitspoons by my side, thinking of the fragrant Carrie and her knight in shining blue polyester.

I actually find the posters not getting the sarcasm just as funny as the op (sorry OP you still rock on cloud 9 i hope) Grin.

EmeraldShamrock · 03/06/2021 00:14

I only read the OP's posts. 🤣 They reminded me of the Princess movie enchanted
.

Very much for real.

This past week has been one of the greatest of my life. I don't believe it's any sort of coincidence that the weather dramatically improved post the wedding. God him/herself clearly approves of this union, and those who seek to disparage it will be smited.

Me too! Grin

Is one ever smoted? Or just smited?

Skysblue · 03/06/2021 11:26

YANBU for being happy for newlyweds but YABVU unreasonable for thinking ‘Boris looks handsome as hell.’ If anything he looks tired, sheepish, resigned and with a definite air of “maybe this will keep her quiet for a bit.” I don’t believe anyone could genuinely look at that photo and think he is hot 🤣🤣🤣

I assume the Tory party asked you to post this to try to divert attention from their disastrous handling of the pandemic and their “well the private schools are fine” approach to education recovery?

Skysblue · 03/06/2021 11:27

Oh I seeeeeeee it was sarcastic 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️ Tfft

newnortherner111 · 03/06/2021 11:38

St Peter has one less decision to make as Donald Tusk once noted. After he has not called Chris Martin.

EmeraldShamrock · 03/06/2021 12:50

You've given me a good laugh OP. 👏

Felifox · 03/06/2021 12:58

Taking

Felifox · 03/06/2021 14:57

OP's comments have made me smile. My (late) dh was always amused at BJ's lifestyle. Heaven only knows what he would have made of him as PM.

My first thought was surprise that they had a Catholic ceremony due not only to his previous marriages but also the hypocrisy due to his lifestyle.

My second thought was that Carrie as the PM's wife - now using her married name of Carrie Johnson - would be able to jointly host at the G7 next week. Indeed she is hosting the delegate's spouses.

MackemLass79 · 03/06/2021 15:04

I've not read the entire thread but just wanted to come on to say I will have what OP has had and make mine a pint 😂😂😂🤣🤣

Whatafustercluck · 03/06/2021 15:24

Are you on glue?

TulisaIsBrill · 03/06/2021 15:56

No Confused

I watched Grange Hill. I’m not going the way of Zammo.

"Absolutely over the moon" is a bit strong for someone you've never met isn't it...

newnortherner111 · 18/06/2021 10:10

I nominate this thread for MN classics.

longwayoff · 18/06/2021 10:16

Grin the voters of Chesham and Amersham appear to disagree with you OP. Tory seat for time out of mind and Bozo has 'spafffed it up the wall', hopefully with many others to follow. 16,000 majority Grin
