To think William and Kate are currently over exposed

Why do we need to keep seeing them everywhere? The more I see them trying to convey their perfect Boden lives the more I find it irritating. I think their PR people seem to have gone into overdrive

They are "back at work" they are not exactly everywhere but the queen in 94 prince Charles has been accompaning the Queen so who is left.

I don't read the tabloids. Do see them on news websites though. Today they visited their old University. They've been in Scotland meeting and greeting the serfs. Not sure if it's meant to be a pick me up for the nation after the pandemic but seeing this overprivileged pair isn't working for me

It's not obligatory to click on every link about them y'know. They're just carrying on doing their job, same as before. If there are more articles about them it's likely due to Harry's Oprah etc. interviews which are obviously the opposite of discreet!

@Mrsjayy you do get that @greenandpinkbudgie isn’t actually calling the public serfs, right? Just making a comment on what she sees as a somewhat patronising visit. You may or may not agree that it’s patronising, but you don’t need to be “wow” at the word serfs 🤣

Another here to say I'm not aware of anything. I am aware that Di was in the news, I heard it in the radio in passing, but aside from wondering why that's as far as I've got.

I’m a bit bored of seeing Kate’s OTT, lovey smile at her husband just showing how in lurrrrrvvve they are, or that head thrown back, rictus grin of hilarity because something always seems hilarious. They’re beautiful photos but I fail to believe she’s so in lurve with her husband that she can’t help gazing up at him adoringly or finds stuff quite that hilarious

They're just carrying on doing their job, same as before

Except the job of a VIP visit to your old University at the taxpayers expense isn't a job anyone else even gets the chance to apply for

I was just thinking reading the times this evening, with yet another story about Harry (this time making a series with Oprah apparently) that I haven't heard anything about them recently bar Prince William's statement on the Diana/Bashir interview.

I must have missed the memo where bitching was banned on AIBU then. It's not about them personally, I don't know them and they may well be lovely people. I think they're being over PR'd and to me that feels grating when people are generally quite down and in all the hardship we are living through right now.

You see more of them when they're on tour, as they are currently. They tend to go back under the radar for a bit in between tours and visits. And we see more of them than we used to as they've got to pick up work that other members of the family (ahem) have abandoned or been withdrawn from.
