To ask if this hair colour is blonde or brunette?

My hair colour is dark blonde or light brown ("mousey brown"). I don't particularly like it but I think it's what suits me best.

I have always referred to it as being brown/brunette. However, my colleagues were discussing hair colour and all agreed that they would refer to me as being blonde. I know it's an ambiguous colour but I'm curious, would you say this hair colour is blonde or brunette?

Definitely brunette

It’s brown with highlights.
If I had to say in one word. Bronde.

Whatever it is it's bloody gorgeous (it's brown with highlights by the way)

Brown. I don’t get why the term bronde has to exist. Yes there are highlights but it’s essentially brown hair.

yeah, dd went from blonde through that colour to light brown. I called it light brown.

This is about as dark as blonde can get IMO, after this it’s light brown

It's definitely not brunette, that implies dark brown not just 'brown'.
Id guess it can get natural sun highlights, and there's golden shades so I'd probably say blonde or 'fair'.

I think some don't know what 'brunette' actually means!

The real distinction is down to what pigments your hair has. If it's naturally got yellowish tones then it's fair/blonde.
