To ask if this hair colour is blonde or brunette?

My hair colour is dark blonde or light brown ("mousey brown"). I don't particularly like it but I think it's what suits me best.

I have always referred to it as being brown/brunette. However, my colleagues were discussing hair colour and all agreed that they would refer to me as being blonde. I know it's an ambiguous colour but I'm curious, would you say this hair colour is blonde or brunette?

It’s neither blonde nor brunette. Looks brown with highlights to me.

Brown. I don’t get why the term bronde has to exist. Yes there are highlights but it’s essentially brown hair.

Because hair isn’t all one colour and there is a point between darkest blonde and lightest brown. That’s where bronde lives.

It's definitely not brunette, that implies dark brown not just 'brown'. Id guess it can get natural sun highlights, and there's golden shades so I'd probably say blonde or 'fair'.

‘Brunette’ means brown. There’s a vast swathe of shades that fall within brown, and the OP’s is at the light brown end of the scale.

Is that your actual hair though OP? Or the closest approximation pic to your hair? I only ask because that photo looks like the kind that gets taken when you've just had your hair done; it's a photo of hair that is a gorgeous caramel brown with blonde highlights and you have to explicitly ask for that outcome (and pay for it!)
So, if this isn't you but you naturally have something similar your very lucky it's lovely! It's also (awful made up word) bronde.

Going against the grain here but I'd call it blonde. Dark blonde, but blonde.

My hair is similar to those photos or maybe a touch lighter. I always say it’s mousey brown/light brown but many, many people (including my hairdresser) consider me blonde 🤷🏼‍♀️. So I’m no help at all.

I would call that brunette

Since it's coloured hair I think it's doesn't have to be one or the other. To me the base colour looks like brunette, but the highlights are like a dark blonde would naturally have.

I would call it golden brown.
