What is the most you have ever won?

Just out of curiousity what is the most you have ever won? Whether that be in a competition or on the lottery?

I can't even win £1 on a scratch card 🤣 I'm just wondering if people actually ever won anything?

Ps I'm not a gambler nor do I intend to gamble, this is purely just following a conversation me and my friend were having earlier.

A £100 voucher on mumsnet. I sound pathetic.

BeyondMyWits · 05/05/2021 19:36

£1022... on the football pools 35 years ago. Paid for a trip to the US.

FurrySlipperBoots · 05/05/2021 19:37

@LudoBear If you're being serious, did you fritter it away or invest it wisely?

My top win is £20 on a scratchcard. I've won competitions where the prize is worth more (£60ish) but money wise, £20 is my max.

CaveMum · 05/05/2021 19:38

I had £10 each way on a horse I looked after as a foal and he won at 33-1 = £396 profit.

I’m also a matched bettor these days and dabble in casino offers, my biggest win on one of those was £1,050.

£100 worth of Superdrug Health & Beautycard points last year, which I had no idea I'd won until I went to buy something online.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 05/05/2021 19:44

I won £136 on the national lottery a couple of years ago.

Pottedpalm · 05/05/2021 19:48

£200 on a raffle in 1976. That was a lot in those days. I bought an Ossie Clark dress and put the rest towards our house deposit.

DinosApple · 05/05/2021 19:49

£200 vouchers on a Mumsnet competition, years ago. It was a 'what thing must you pack in your maternity bag?' thread. I didn't write anything clever or unusual, so the answer must have been picked at random.

Also £80 on a scratchy.

FrenchyQ · 05/05/2021 19:51

£26000 on an online slot machine

altiara · 05/05/2021 19:51

£30, was quite exciting to win that big until I read this thread!

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 05/05/2021 19:54

£100 on a scratch card.

witheringrowan · 05/05/2021 19:55

£3000ish on Euromillions a few years ago. Most of it went into my savings but I used £500 to extend a holiday to finish with a long weekend in Paris.

Roselilly36 · 05/05/2021 19:57

A holiday to Canada, a weekend hotel break in Windsor, an annual park pass to a local Zoo, a limited edition cake stand. Never money or raffles but lucky in draws.

OublietteBravo · 05/05/2021 19:57

I won a £500 prize with my premium bonds.

Zancah · 05/05/2021 19:58

@LudoBear

Million pounds
Christ you're busy tonight, you've started a bunfight on the feminism board, claimed you've gone into spontaneous labour with a baby you didn't even know you were having, asked for baby names YESTERDAY for that sprog you didn't know you were having and now you're a millionaire. Fucking well done love.
