Just out of curiousity what is the most you have ever won? Whether that be in a competition or on the lottery?

I can't even win £1 on a scratch card 🤣 I'm just wondering if people actually ever won anything?

Ps I'm not a gambler nor do I intend to gamble, this is purely just following a conversation me and my friend were having earlier.

I do casino offers, biggest win by itself is around £350, but I’m coming up £10k in profit with that and match betting after a year.
It does take a lot of time though, and quickly feels like a dull part time job.

£870 on a charity draw at a football match .

£2k on an online slot game about 10 years ago, absolutely pissed it away as was young (early 20's) and stupid! Would do better with it now.

£1430 on a lottery ticket - I got 5 numbers.

£25 on some premium bonds that someone bought me as a Baby!

Then l organised a raffle in aid of a Children’s Hospice, and the Star prize was a Weeks holiday onboard a River Cruiser on the Norfolk Broads, my Neighbour won it, valued at £750, but she was terrified of sleeping on a boat, so Gave it to DH and l to Crew for her and take her Grandaughter with us, who was at school with our DDs!

€100 in a local sports team raffle. Honestly the person who sold me the ticket was more delighted than I was.

£1000 on Premium Binds last year.
A tenth share in a £20k lottery syndicate win at work a few years ago.

About £5 on the lottery

About £40 on Tombola, I was so pleased with myself but then my partner won nearly £6000 the day after on the same game, so my win felt pretty tiny in the end.

£30 recently on Lotto.
My df won big on the football Pools about 20 years ago. Dumped me soon after..

A heart rate monitor for athletics. This was in the 1990s so it was worth a lot more then.

£400 on the horses. Usually only put a bet on the Grand National, but Sky Bet had a special at Cheltenham in 2019, money back (up to £20) if your horse didn’t win. I put the £20 (most I’ve ever bet on anything) on Pentland Hills on the last day and it won at 20-1.
