I washed our king size duvet and hung it out to dry this morning, it's 100% my fault 😂

Going to be chilly tonight I fear 😩

OhRene · 03/05/2021 15:39

I straightened my hair. It's a huge faff and I hate pissing about doing my hair more than a pathetic, frizzy ponytail usually. But I decided yesterday I was going to wash and straighten it. Obviously it all went to hell the second I stepped outside and my hood blew down.

Sorry guys.

SeaTurtles92 · 03/05/2021 15:40

I blame the fair that came to town Angry.

Tambora · 03/05/2021 15:42

It's my birthday.

GNCQ · 03/05/2021 15:42

It's ok I put out young Dahlias, Begonias and Campanula too early so they were ALL killed by Jack frost. I probably fed him.

PanamaPattie · 03/05/2021 15:43

I cleaned the fire out and filled it with candles, I washed the windows, put the throws away, put the summer curtains up and I shaved my legs.

I can only apologise and seek your forgiveness.

dingit · 03/05/2021 15:43

No it was me. We planned a bbq Grin

Kevinbaconsrealwife · 03/05/2021 15:44

I’m so sorry one and all but it was me.....I washed the car...

I actually had the day off and bought bags of compost and summer bulbs .

Lessons will be learned ..

ddl1 · 03/05/2021 15:52

It's said that somewhere there's a tombstone with the following epitaph: 'Beneath this stone, a lump of clay/ Lies Mr. Peter Daniels/ Who, early in the month of May,/ Took off his winter flannels!'

Ninkanink · 03/05/2021 15:52

@Knittedfairies

I absolve all of you from blame; it's a bank holiday after all...
True. My children are grown up now so I hadn’t considered that, but of course the rules of the universe still apply!
SEE123 · 03/05/2021 15:52

DS, age 2, apologises to you all profusely for requiring sun cream. Two bottles no less. Clearly his fault.

Happy birthday @Tambora. Next year we'll wait until the sun is already out. Sorry.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 03/05/2021 15:52

It's my fault. I bought a bottle of Apérol, a bottle of Pimms and moved the rosé to the top of the wine rack. Tar and feather me...

OurChristmasMiracle · 03/05/2021 15:52

It’s my fault. I forgot to email Mother Nature and ask for an extension on the lovely sunny weather we have been having. Unfortunately she has a backlog of requests so we should hear back from her in approx 2-6 weeks Wink

Mercedes519 · 03/05/2021 15:52

I briefly considered potting the sweet peas out...too soon and clearly a 'cloot' whatever that is!

I'm slightly more worried by @PuppyPupPups needing to go outside for a wee. Spare a thought for their neighbours...

Atalune · 03/05/2021 15:56

We packed the paddle board and life jackets to visit friends at the reservoir last night. It’s 7 degrees, pouring with rain and throwing a hoolie!

I’m so sorry. We were rash. It’s all our fault.

AllThatisSolid · 03/05/2021 16:02

I turned the heating off on Friday. It's all my fault.

MsFannySqueers · 03/05/2021 16:03

I had the winter tyres changed on my car for summer tyres it’s all on me.

Theunamedcat · 03/05/2021 16:05

Well you all should be ashamed of yourselves i had ZERO plans today and had to cancel them ALL

FedUpAtHomeTroels · 03/05/2021 16:05

It's my day off work, of course it's raining and windy.

Rhythmisadancer · 03/05/2021 16:09

you're all off the hook. I bought two cans of decking stain, so it's clear to see who's at fault here

the80sweregreat · 03/05/2021 16:09

@Timper

Ne’er cast a cloot til May’s oot.
My dad always said this! It's true.
