Do you face the shower head??

A current discussion taking place in my house.

After catching a stream on youtube it was brought up with people incredulous that some people do/dont face the shower head when showering.

I laughed to my friend that i face away like normal people and started WW3 because of course she faces the shower...

What do you do? Is it different depending where you are and where soap etc is stored.. how has this taken up so much of my head space tonight??

Umm I turn around so my whole body gets wet, then I soap up and scrub, then I turn around under the water stream again to rinse off. When I’m washing my hair I obviously face away from the shower head.

Both, I face away when washing my hair and rhen when rinsing it then face it when washing my body and rinsing it. I don’t understand how you can rinse your body properly if you don’t face it.

I do both. But I also lower the shower head if I’m not washing my hair to microphone level so I don’t get my hair wet.

Face away is the only logical and sensible option. The shower head is tilted so that the water runs away from your face and eyes if you do it this way and into your eyes if you face the shower.

I try my best to face. I can cream the front of me comfortably afterwards, I find hot water dries my back which makes it itchy as I can't cream it easily iyswim?

Naturally I want to face away though.

I do both. If my hair is in the water I face away, otherwise I face inwards (i.e. I want the water on my body). I do a lot of turning in the shower!

Both. Face to wash myself and face away to wash hair. Perfectly normal I’d assume.

Towards. Small shower cubicle with one of those candy things that hangs over the shower head up and down pole thing (v technical). It doesn’t mean I’m getting blasted in the face though Hmm it’s usually hitting my chest, step forward and it gets heads / face, step back again for no water in face. I do turn around when washing hair as it’s easier to face away and just slightly tip head back.

How do you rinse the soap off then if th water never directly hits th front of your body?

No. The water totally misses my entire front. 50% of my body stays dry... Hmm

I face the shower head except when I'm washing my hair. I angle it down so it hits my chest, not my face.

I don't know whether I wash my front to your standards, but my belly button doesn't whiff, if that's what you're asking.

Away - so I can look out the window while I shower! Front gets wet as the water comes over my shoulders and yes I'm sure many of you will think I'm a total skank but I don't soap my body except bits and pits and it just gets washed with the run off!
