Do you face the shower head??

A current discussion taking place in my house.

After catching a stream on youtube it was brought up with people incredulous that some people do/dont face the shower head when showering.

I laughed to my friend that i face away like normal people and started WW3 because of course she faces the shower...

What do you do? Is it different depending where you are and where soap etc is stored.. how has this taken up so much of my head space tonight??

I stand sideways. I slide to the left, then I slide to the right, sometimes I do a hip hop or a crisscross if I'm feeling energized.

I have such long hair that if I face away while washing it I end up with a lot of hair wedged in my bumcrack.

I take an umbrella in with me so that I don't get wet at all regardless of which way I face.

I face the shower head

I do both - I get in and face away from the shower head to get my body/hair wet, then step out of the stream to lather in my shampoo, step back to rinse it out, step forward again to put the conditioner in.

While that sits on my hair for a couple of minutes I turn to face the shower head (so my hair is out of the direct line of the water spray) while I wash my body, and then turn away from the shower head to rinse out the conditioner.

Depends which body part I'm washing.

I face the shower while i wash my face and body, then turn away to shampoo and rinse my hair.

It's right above anyone in the shower, so regardless of what direction you face in our shower, you'll get rained on.

Neither as the shower head is directly above my head. If I'm somewhere that it is on the wall rather than the ceiling I face away unless I'm reaching for the shampoo bar / body wash bar / razor.

The water still goes over my front to rinse off even if I face away.
