I regret not taking school more seriously or trying harder, not making more of myself.

Being confident enough to stand up to my family and live my life how I wanted not how they expected me to.

Not reporting my Dad sooner. I was 3, when he started, and 15 when he stopped, after I threatened him. He stopped. I thought he'd stopped. He moved on, to his grandchildren. I finally got him stopped. He was sentenced to a year, and served 6 months, because of his age, poor old bugger. Mum told family that he was in hospital, very ill.
They're both dead now, thankfully. Not Fred or Rose, but we have to live with this daily. Sentenced to a year because of his age? Sorry. Cross doesn't come close. With me, more than him, I think.
