AIBU to hate mums who turn up to drop off kids in pyjamas?

Mainly because these are the same ones who are also usually swearing in public and shouting down their mobile phones, and/or their kids.

EugenesAxe · 24/03/2021 16:31

Never met any. Is your post just a big, fat worm on a hook though? Bit judgmental.

AccidentallyOnPurpose · 24/03/2021 16:31

Hate really?

You need to get out more.

I'd find it hard enough to give a shit about it, even more so actually hating someone for it.

TimeForTeaAndG · 24/03/2021 16:31

Does their choice of clothing impact on your day? If the shouting/swearing at kids is a concern then report them. Otherwise, get a grip.

Krazynights34 · 24/03/2021 16:31

Do you hate politicians who lie?
People who rape?
People who don’t vote?
People who hurt animals?
Ie anything important??

DragonPoop · 24/03/2021 16:31

It’s so judgy so I try not to let it annoy me but for some reason it really just irks me, there are 2/3 mums at DS’s school who drop off/pick up their kids in pjs and a dressing down every day.
I think it takes less than 2 minutes to shove on a hoodie/sweatshirt and leggings instead of just your pjs, you don’t need to be dressed up or have a full face of makeup but just be dressed as a minimum- more for the sake of their kids (I know I would be embarrassed if my mum picked me up from school/dropped me off in her pj’s/dressing gown)

Yawn

vodkaredbullgirl · 24/03/2021 16:33

I wear Pjs to work and continue to work in them.

Centaurpede · 24/03/2021 16:36

It's not something I would ever do, but is it really a big deal? Assuming the kids aren't embarrassed I guess. But there are bigger things to worry about in life!

You've really not met any? Tbf, probably varies by area / school.

And I do come across the usual 3 or 4. And perhaps i am being judgemental. But theyre always so loud and not very polite / using bad language.

Also, it irks me of the example they are setting to their kids.

VettiyaIruken · 24/03/2021 16:39

I couldn't give a shit or even a wet fart about other people wearing pyjamas.

Homemadearmy · 24/03/2021 16:40

So they are loud, impolite and swear, but it's the pajamas that you have a problem with?

StellaKowalski · 24/03/2021 16:41

Do you wear pyjamas in public...?

Yeah, deffo.
