To ask which comedians you think are hot?

Right, it's 2 in the morning, I've drank too much coffee in a bid to stay up and finish this essay, and I cannot stop thinking about the Richard Osman sex dream thread from the other day.
Richard is not my type despite the very large hands but it has got me thinking about comedy-adjacent people who I think are Quite Fit, and I need to know I'm not alone.

My picks:

  • Richard Ayoade - awkward and funny and lovely and hot
  • James Acaster - exactly the same reasons (I have a type Blush)
  • Mike Wozniak - I was lucky enough to go to the Taskmaster recordings in October and after seeing him on there I've secretly thought of him as quite attractive. Think it's the moustache, but I'm usually anti-facial hair so I'm not quite sure where that's come from...

Please entertain me during my coffee-fuelled mania by telling me your comedy crushes. I can't be the only one can I?

Comedians who sing do it for me. Jermaine Clement especially, but also Tim Minchin and Jack Black.

BigPaperBag · 05/04/2021 16:45

Russell Howard

@Alittlenonsensenowandthen

Back in the day, Sean Hughes(what happened ti him? Saw him twice). And definitely John Bishop. Think it's the accent, or the twinkly eyes....
Sean Hughes died in 2017 aged 51.

@Theyrenotdrawsmate 😂 I know! He’s the same age as me & I still couldn’t admit to anyone IRL that he’s attractive! His stage persona is really unrefined but I watched him in a documentary about cycling in France (yep...that’s how much I would 😂) & he was quite different.

Agree with Chris O’Dowd too. Even when he was utterly mullered on the Last Leg!

I think you could create subcategories of the OPs question. There’s a spectrum of the “attractive but as a friend who I would flirt with” (Josh Widdicome) & then there’s “he’d/she’d absolutely get it” (Rob Delaney).

Greg Davies. Rik Mayall (RIP you sexy bastard). Reece Shearsmith. Mike Wozniak. They're my top 4. Reece is my favourite though. He's been an ongoing one for me for nearly 20 years now. Sigh.

Lahlahlah · 05/04/2021 19:34

Jack Whitehall and Russell Brand

Royalbloo · 05/04/2021 19:40

Q from impractical jokers, what a babe!!

moanieleminx · 05/04/2021 22:53

Paul Chowdry. Mainly for his beautifully maintained moustache and beautiful eyes.

And David Mitchell.

And his wife.

Maybe her more than him. Definitely maybe.

ThisMammaCat · 05/04/2021 23:24

Noel Fielding & Russell Brand and when they appear together even better 🤣😍

georgarina · 05/04/2021 23:34

John Bishop

MrsBobDylan · 06/04/2021 22:09

Dane Baptiste. I made DH come with me to see him perform in London a few years ago and he was so worth it. Funny too.

MintyCedric · 06/04/2021 22:13

Greg Davies...don't even get me started on what I'd do with him given half a chance
Romesh Ranganathan
Rhod Gilbert
Alex Brooker
Adam Hills

Not sure if he counts but Richard Osman

JumpLeadsForTwo · 06/04/2021 22:18

Tim Minchin and Reece Shearsmith - Tim especially when he is talking

CounsellorTroi · 07/04/2021 14:10

Recently watched the 30 years of HIGNFY programme on Iplayer. I still find Paul Merton very attractive but dear god he was beautiful when he was young!

Derrymum123 · 07/04/2021 14:31

Tommy Tiernan -those eyes. Kevin Bridges that accent.

gottakeeponmovin · 07/04/2021 17:53
