...or items?

Mine have been:

  1. A large transparent command hook that I put on the side of a chest of drawers to hang my hairdryer on (I tried lots of other sticky hooks before but that was the only one that actually worked)
  1. Buying all the same clothes hangers so DD's clothes look tidier
  1. A large kitchen sink tidier which has instantly made the kitchen side less messy

I am on a constant mission to improve our living spaces, so AIBU to ask what yours have been?

Waterproof mittens for both DDs. Age 3 and 6.

PatchworkElmer · 18/02/2021 17:53

Waterproof trousers for me, for our endless muddy and rainy lockdown walks.

Chunkymenrock · 18/02/2021 17:54

Lovely fleece liners and fleece tunnels for my guinea pigs.

CherieBabySpliffUp · 18/02/2021 17:54

A heated throw so when I get cold I can keep warm without having to put the heating on.

NoCherryNoDeal · 18/02/2021 17:54

This 3 way socket for £1 in Poundland!

I was getting so annoyed at having to plug in charger/lamp/radio in extension lead, so much easier now that it's level with my head when lying down in bed.

Pizzaandgarlicdip · 18/02/2021 17:55

A giant dressing gown for DP which I wear over my clothes while I’m working instead of turning on the heating. Just have to remember to take it off for video calls Blush

Merryoldgoat · 18/02/2021 17:55

You are me and I claim my prize.

I have bought all of those things too. Hangers in particular were a game changer.

LockdownCheeseToastie · 18/02/2021 17:55

Ooni pizza oven- many family evenings in the garden with the teenagers who usually hide in their rooms.

ThursdayLastWeek · 18/02/2021 17:56

The Nintendo switch!

crosspelican · 18/02/2021 17:56

Sorel snow boots. Can't believe I've lived in this country for 12 years without them! They're so warm and make the infinite walks and playground standing tolerable. I wear them ALL THE TIME. I've even been able to wade through ankle deep flooding in them.

aLilNonnyMouse · 18/02/2021 17:56

A PlayStation 5 along with some games. It's kept me busy all day for the last few months. I'd been going out of my mind with boredom before I got it. I'm shielding so stuck inside alone all day.

GintyMcGinty · 18/02/2021 17:56

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 18/02/2021 17:58

WaltzForDebbie · 18/02/2021 17:58

Fleece lined gardening trousers. They are so warm and cosy for gardening in cold weather.

Biftekomama · 18/02/2021 18:00

@crosspelican I'm desperate for some, the ones I want are permanently out of stock in my size!

A giant padded duvet coat that goes down to mid calf for endless walks

horseymum · 18/02/2021 18:00

A bracket to go on a tripod to hold a phone or ipad- we do lots of videoing music things and this means you don't need to prop up your phone on random piles of books all the time. Game changer and only about £6. Also handy for family zoom calls.

NoCherryNoDeal · 18/02/2021 18:01

Also a 2 litre water bottle with a straw.

Will be so much easier to up my water intake.
