...or items?

Mine have been:

  1. A large transparent command hook that I put on the side of a chest of drawers to hang my hairdryer on (I tried lots of other sticky hooks before but that was the only one that actually worked)
  1. Buying all the same clothes hangers so DD's clothes look tidier
  1. A large kitchen sink tidier which has instantly made the kitchen side less messy

I am on a constant mission to improve our living spaces, so AIBU to ask what yours have been?

@User5768

A rowing machine. Dd and I both love it.
Agreed!

We have a rowing machine and AssBike in the dining room, we love to use both.

Also my weightlifting kit, use it 5/6 days a week. Not missing the gym at all.

Also some white storage boxes from B&M for tidying up the kitchen cupboards

Bought beforehand but a fire pit was great for outdoor gatherings when it was allowed. And my label maker has brought me much joy!

I have a lot of the things listed but really interested in & would love links or recommendations for

Inflatable hot tub

Projector (to use outside while in the inflatable hot tub! 🤣)

Garden dartboard

Cable organise bag

For yogurt lovers I couldn't recommend an instantpot any more, to make your own. It's amazing!

High sleeper bed for DS1 with a desk below it has probably been the best thing.

Then we went all out and found a slide/tent bed for DS2 :o he is too little to sleep in it really but it's brilliant for turning our house into a soft play centre :o

@SplendidSuns1000 you're welcome!!

Agree with the posters recommending a rubber brush, they are great for picking up hair, sometimes they pick up so much we don't need to hoover well that's my excuse...Grin

@NoProblem123 ooooh that sounds really interesting, I have the Libby app (free library books online) and Kindle but begrudge paying Audible prices so will check that out!

All those who bought heated throws can you link some?

JemimaMuddledUp · 18/02/2021 19:33

Merrell walking boots in the January sales. Really comfy and keep my feet dry on my daily walks.

Aurea · 18/02/2021 19:35

These hand warmers for working on my laptop at home. It really makes a difference with warmth and also the fleece fabric is comfortable to rest on the keyboard.

@NoCherryNoDeal I've just this minute got back from poundland and have bought one of those, glad to hear they're decent! Can't wait to actually plug things in on my side of the bed!

*You win - and I'm incredibly jealous!

Hope it is as wonderful as it sounds*
It's not! It's hard work, there's SOOO much chicken poo and yet I'm begging for more poo from local farmers to make veggie beds, the soil is 100% clay, wringing wet and undiggable, and our last batch of 10 eggs contained 7 roosters, which I can't get rid of because DD adores them and has given them all names, so we're trying to rotate and hens and roosters between the shed and the run so the roos don't shag the hens to death. It's not unmitigatedly idyllic. But I absolutely love it (aside from the roos).

NerrSnerr · 18/02/2021 19:43

Thermals, walking boots, waterproof gloves for the children and warm outdoor socks for all of us.

trickyex · 18/02/2021 19:45

My Melitta coffee maker is my best buy and XBox for teen DSs.

The pizza ovens look tempting, any recommendations on which are best buys please?

Oh and coffee machine. Machine was pricey but we haven't purchased a takeaway coffee since

scrivette · 18/02/2021 19:51

Dishwasher, I haven't had one before but got really fed up of washing up during the first Lockdown.

A pair of wellies, I love them and haven't worn anything else all winter and have thoroughly enjoyed splashing around in puddles.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/02/2021 19:53

Spotify! I'm cross with myself for not getting it before.

SoulofanAggron · 18/02/2021 19:58

A coffee machine so we could get nice coffees even when coffee shops weren't open. You can get some on offer on Amazon, think it was half price.

RosesAndHellebores · 18/02/2021 19:59

House clogs. Just can't work in slippers. Must be psychological.

SoulofanAggron · 18/02/2021 19:59

We've carried on/will carry on using it sometimes even when we also go to coffee shops. :)

AshMeri · 18/02/2021 19:59

LD1: Garden swing seat
LD2: Eufy robovac
LD3: Oodies and welly stands

Thanks to the PPs who bought cable organiser bags. I've put one in my Amazon Prime basket!!
