To put a super king duvet on a king-size bed?

Just that. I like the look of it hanging over the sides. Does anyone have this? Is it too much?

Definitely a good idea IMO! My kids have a double duvet on single beds its loads cosier too

My mother’s one piece of marriage advice was to buy a cover one size bigger than the bed and you’ll never fight over it!

I had a king size duvet on a double bed, and got a superking size duvet when get got a king size bed.

We have a double bed with a kingsize duvet. Works better than if we'd just had a double in it.

No great idea, as pp said no arguing over cover too much on one side.

I have a king size duvet on a double bed. Saves fighting over the duvet in the night lol.

DP and I have our own duvets - who cares what your bed looks like? Comfort first!

My friend does this, she likes to sleep really tucked in (aka bedclothes hogging) so needs the extra duvet. I shared a normal double with her in a hotel once and it was Not Fun.

I used to do this until we got a superking bed and I can't find a duvet or linens big enough to size up. I like to be snuggly, my mother thinks it's awful and claustrophobic, but frequently kicks her covers off even in the middle of winter.

I think it would more unreasonable to buy the ‘right’ size duvet!

I have a superking with one superking duvet and an additional single duvet in my side of the cover.

Have one duvet each no moaning over who has more then!
