To put a super king duvet on a king-size bed?

Just that. I like the look of it hanging over the sides. Does anyone have this? Is it too much?

As a previous poster has said , we have a queen size duvet each on a super king size bed , far more snuggly especially when the little ones sneak in !

That's settled it then. Thank you all. I already have advice from both another thread and good housekeeping magazine to go with a bedfolk linen set. I will have the finest set up in all of christendom!

I have a king size duvet on my double bed. Sumptuous for proper snuggling, warmer, and duvet stays in place better due to the overhang!

We’ve always had a bigger duvet on our beds. Ours is a super king on a king, it looks much better but it’s like a full work out when you’re changing it.

Yes. You should always get a duvet one size up from the size of bed.

I have kingsize duvets on my doubles :) not fighting over it in the night !

We have a double duvet on the single bed in our spare room and it works well.

I have always had a quilt one size bigger then the bed, just be aware that when it gets to queen size bedding, choices are limited and expensive. It's hard enough finding something I like it superking sometimes.

We have 2 double duvets on our king size bed as we like to wrap up in them 🤣

I have just a double bed, ( for me only) but I always have a king sized duvet for the bed, as it looks much better and neater.

Definitely! Super king on king here. In summer we have 2 single ones of different thickness, I have the ultra light one as I get way too hot.

Yes we do this too. For our king size beds we have superking duvets. Unfortunately my bed is superking which means i can't go any bigger than that.

There is a size above superking - emperor, we have a emperor duvet on our superking bed, takes both of us to change it.

Where do you get duvet covers for a bigger size than super king. It’s hard enough to find super king size.

Yes much better. Less of an argument about anyone stealing the duvet, and harder to lose the duvet by tossing and turning etc

I've always sized up. Otherwise the duvet seems to only just fit. Go for it! Be nice snd snuggly.
