Name changed for this. But I'm disgusted, I cleaned it up and sterilised the whole room. He has been feeling poorly today but this is utterly disgusting. I always wondered who did this sort of thing, now I know! AIBU to never even kiss him again.

How do you sterilise a whole room? Sounds time consuming

Jesus, I'm glad my DH doesn't have mumsnet throughout my pregnancy he has helped clean up mostly sick and never poo bodily fluids, I'd have hated him to post it online when I'be been so poorly and he's helped me clean up - isn't that what you do in marriage? These threads are annoying and I'm sure they're just trolls but get a grip

If not, yep it's still grim but id have had a moan and told him to clean it himself. If he's a bit unwell he may not have realised.

He did not clean it up, I've spent 30 minutes with boiling water, anti-bacterial and loo cleaner. I would moan to my mother but she would be so horrified, she would tell me to LTB. My DC told me they had seen him come out of there. I don't care how ill he is, I would never leave the loo in such a state and I've certainly never pooed on the seat. It's mahogany too so it was not immediately obvious either.

Not that bad really, at least it was in the bog. A chef I used to work with once took a shit in the food prep area

You say your husband has been ill? It was most likely an accident. Poor guy. I would have just wiped it clean and not said anything, and I hope when I'm poorly that my DH would do the same for me.
