To ask how many friends you’ve got

I’ve got one friend that I could tell everything to. A childhood friend. A few others but definitely still under ten in total. I’m in my late 40’s.

I have a lot of acquaintances but only about 4 people who I feel I could ring in the middle of the night and they would help me if I ever needed anything.
I would rather have quality friends over quantity.

2 close friends. I'm in my late 20's and have know them for around 20 years. They are all I need.

I've got quite a few that I'm close enough to to talk seriously, have a wee chat about how we're feeling etc. But only two who I would call on in a crisis and who I feel would call on me.

None that I would talk to to about anything & everything or would feel comfortable calling in an emergency.

I've got about 30 that I would go out on a 121 with; made up of old uni friends; friends from my hockey team; neighbours; and mum friends. Then about another 50 (mostly mums from school) that I would go out in a group with.,

I have 1 friend I speak to fairly regularly. A couple of other acquaintances and that’s it. I spend my time with my DP, sister and mum.
I had about 30 close friends in high school and don’t keep in touch with any of them anymore which is sad. I had many years of bad depression and isolated myself away from everyone and it’s been too long now to rebuild things as they have all moved on so much now.

Mid-30s and have about 4 I could ring at 3am in an emergency and would be there. 8 further people I see regularly, love spending time with and with whom I can have honest conversations (and trust they will be discreet). A smattering of acquaintances.

I don't have a close relationship with my siblings so my friends (and my DH) are my family.

About 8 who would bury a body with me. Scattered all over, love, love, love them. Lots I could phone for a drink or have a nice chat with.

5-6 I could turn to in a time of crisis, maybe around 15-20 I see regularly? I have a hobby that is quite social though and I like being busy and seeing people.

None, (but I know many people and would call them friends...just not close) probably because I’ve not throughly made the effort to keep in touch with people and because I have moved around a bit. I am incredibly lucky though to call my husband my best friend and I can talk to him about anything (I know, that sounds a bit sickening).

Loads. Maybe 15 good friends and lots of people I am “friendly” with. Also lots scattered across the globe.
That said, am also very comfortable in my own company. Would happily go on holiday on my own or out for dinner. But ultimately my live is hugely enriched by my friends.
