Tess Daley, what’s her secret?

She’s 51 and looks like she’s in her 30s naturally, with no cosmetic intervention other than make up IMHO. How?!

I agree she hasn’t had much filler. I need to know the secret to her taut jawline though. I don’t think you can get to her age and not have some slight sagging/ jowling. Peels are good but they don’t lift the face. Also what about the natural loss of volume/ hollowing that happens?

I think you can, if you have a strong jawline naturally, and good dental health. That would include avoiding loss of bone density due to dental decay/tooth removal. Possibly implants, because I believe they help prevent bone loss if there is decay?

If you however have facial structure that has a pointy, slightly receding chin naturally, allied with poor posture so that you tend to go about slumped with your chin heading into your neck, that is where your jaw will tend to head eventually too. So I also would think that good posture and being a former model would help here too.

Yes I agree a good jawline and dental health will help.

I think we all lose bone density as we age though. I guess maybe at different rates but I remain impressed by her jawline 😂

@whynotwhen whereas Zoe Ball (50) lets rip with a bloody great smile and therefore has lines which she hasn't tried to hide and she looks 45, happy and fun. I'd rather look like her than like Tess Daly.

Delatron · 10/12/2020 13:36

Zoe Ball has had Botox though. Just maybe not as much ‘work’. I agree she has a nicer and more natural smile. I think letting some lines show and not chasing every line is a good thing.

I went to school with her.

There’s a million treatments you can get now that have nothing to do with Botox or filler - so many surgical and non surgical procedures!

There are pretty much no celebrities who don’t do this stuff, anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional!

@Iamnotminterested

I went to school with her.
Was she very obviously good looking at school? I would imagine so, but you never know!

@GreenlandTheMovie

I think posters are under-estimating the effect of chemical peels and over-estimating the effect of fillers. Fillers generally produce that odd distended lower face look and fake lip line which Trinny is currently spouting. Tess doesn't look like that - she looks more natural. 50 really isn't so old that women cannot be attractive and still look relatively youthful.

IMHO a lot of filler is very noticable, doesn't look good and is quite ageing. It affects the basic proportions of the face if over-used, so I would say Tess really hasn't had a lot of filler.

Chemical peels are about clarity of skin tone though and some wrinkle reduction with the very deep peels. They have no effect on a slack jawline.

I know she’s had implants done. I find it hard to believe that she wouldn’t try other things.

@whynotwhen thats just botox to crowsfeet. its the easiest thing to get rid of and you can't feel it like you can feel the botox on the forehead area.
