She’s 51 and looks like she’s in her 30s naturally, with no cosmetic intervention other than make up IMHO. How?!

I don't look my age. I hope people don't accuse me of having Botox, in 20 years time. Grin
I guess it's just in the genes!!!!

GreenlandTheMovie · 06/12/2020 00:02

As a previous poster mentioned, bone structure, specifically large high cheekbones, a wide jaw with healthy teeth with little decay resulting in bone loss and a relatively small upturned nose.

Plus not being overweight, smooth skin (probably regular chemical peels), Botox, good skincare regime, non-smoker, probably limits alcohol and food intake severely, lower face fillers to support the jaw area, some kind of similar work around the eye area and lip filler (as thinning lips are ageing). But not a lot of filler. Probably an eye lift. Hair extensions to add an illusion of young, full hair.

Anyway, she looks beautiful.

Jenasaurus · 06/12/2020 00:03

I dont know, i think she looks her age to be honest, still beautiful and looks fantastic but I would put her at late 40s early 50s

Sorry to tell you this but looking young at 30 and looking young at 50 are often not related!

That’s the generated picture of what she’d look like naturally at 50 isn’t it?!
Jenasaurus · 06/12/2020 01:23

is it? I just googled Tess Daley and that appeared as an image, in that case I am mistaken

TD’s face may look like she’s in her 30s but her hands and arms certainly don’t, IMO.

ethelredonagoodday · 06/12/2020 01:26

I do think that there are so many cosmetic procedures available now, that even without surgery as such, with enough money, you can spend plenty on keeping your skin looking good.
I think she's blessed with good genes, and a good figure, and having make up and hair stylists on hand myst be an absolute bonus!

You could tell the difference it makes when Motsi Mabusi dialled into the show the other week. Whilst she looked great, you could definitely tell the difference between her home make up and hair, and the studio make up and hair!

CatholicKidston · 06/12/2020 01:34

I used to quite fancy Vernon but he was a bit mouthy and annoying in I'm a celebrity and I don't like this long hair.

UpHereForDancing · 06/12/2020 01:37

I remember when she took over Street Mate years ago and me and my DH were disappointed as she looked a bit rough (In his words!)

But yes money counts for a lot but it's not really obvious that she's had work done on her face (compared to Nicole Kidman at least). I really think it's just lifestyle choices IMO.

grassisjeweled · 06/12/2020 01:39

Christie Brinkley is 66 according to goggol, I think she looks absolutely incredible. I need her surgeon!

grassisjeweled · 06/12/2020 01:40

Jena, that's the generated image from the DM.

batteriesgoing · 06/12/2020 06:18

Lol even my dh who is against Botox etc said 'whatever tess Daley's had done you can have?'. It'll be a combo of fillers, Botox and laser treatment. Done very well!

BasiliskStare · 06/12/2020 06:40

@ethelredonagoodday Oh gosh I noticed that about Motsi - she looked happy and relaxed and smiley and nice - but she did not look like she does in the judge's chair.

Athers666 · 06/12/2020 07:19

Oh course she's had work done! Yes she looks good but it's simply not true to say it's all natural. You can clearly see the slightly frozen look in this picture.

Tess Daley, what’s her secret?
MrsMiaWallis · 06/12/2020 07:29

It's quite sweet that people really believe her looks are down to lifestyle choices. Yes, she was beautiful to start with, yes she probably takes good care of herself but it's totally normal for women in her position (and loads of other women) to have fillers and botox

maverickallthetime · 06/12/2020 07:54

It's the weird cheek fillers that I can't get my head round.

Oblomov20 · 06/12/2020 08:03

She's had stuff done, minor fillers etc. But she was an absolute beauty and had good foundations and genes to start with.

NoDontDoIt · 06/12/2020 08:13

Meh, i think she looks 'good' in a boring way but also a bit like a horse in a frock - all legs and teeth. I cant get over how she's got such a good gig on strictly despite apparently being talentless. I think it would freshen it up and encourage me to watch again if they got new presenters in. I did like claudia at first but they are both one trick ponies - tess is 'pretty', claudia is 'quirky' and its so old now.

There is a lot of talent out there and i'd like to see the beeb stop pumping up the same few egos and spread the cash out a bit more

cptartapp · 06/12/2020 08:28

She looks like a man in drag. Quite masculine looking.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/12/2020 08:33

Sorry to tell you this but looking young at 30 and looking young at 50 are often not related!

I can confirm this.

At 30, people thought I was still in my teens.

By the time I'd got to 50 all to those wrinkles had caught up with me. I'm now 67 and they've got me bound and gagged.

Teenageromance · 06/12/2020 09:42

She looks much better (and younger) with the straight hair she had on Strictly last night. The curls in the pic above are her usual style and I think it looks quite dated.

Honeyroar · 06/12/2020 10:04

I have spent all my life having people thinking I was younger than I am. Until I got to 45, then it all caught up! My friend spent all her 20s and 30s looking 40. She still looks 40 at 50! You just don’t know what you’ll age like. Surgery and Botox doesn’t really help, it’s always weird and obvious when you get older.

Hopoindown31 · 06/12/2020 10:07

She is clearly naturally very beautiful. She must be very careful with what she eats and takes regular exercise. She is presumably very wealthy so doesn't have to do all the drudge work and can pay for minor cosmetic procedures. The vast majority of people only ever see her when she is wearing handcrafted bespoke dresses with hair and make up done by top class professionals.
