She’s 51 and looks like she’s in her 30s naturally, with no cosmetic intervention other than make up IMHO. How?!

Profhilo is very popular amongst my friends who like to do these treatments. You can do fillers with Profhilo.

I’ve wondered about profhilo, some on here have not been impressed; said lots of money (and pain) for not much result. Do your friends rate it @RubyViolet?

bluebell34567 · 09/12/2020 23:44

Hyaluronic Acid is around long time, i dont know if its a different administration.
when i look at the pictures they go from darker to brighter pictures where wrinkles dont show much. i see this in many such advertisements.

Don't waste your money. It's rubbish. It makes no discernible difference.......and it hurts like buggery too......much more than fillers. I had the recommended 2 treatments but I wonder now whether you could have about 10 and whether you'd see a difference then.
Delatron · 10/12/2020 09:54

Thanks @Othering
Yes don’t want lots of pain for not much gain!

Lampzade · 10/12/2020 10:06

@Tropicana218

What about Halle Berry ? 54 and she doesn't appear to have a single line.
Halle Berry is mixed race. Darker skin ages better. My GP is a black woman and is nearly sixty . She looks as though she is in her late thirties. I actually had to ask her if she had Botox. She said the only thing that she used on her face was sunblock and astral moisturiser
Lampzade · 10/12/2020 10:09

@TomBradysLeftKneecap

She's 100% had cosmetic dentistry and that's half the key to looking younger. If your smile is young, you look young. It's worth every penny.
Agree with this.
IrmaFayLear · 10/12/2020 10:16

I dunno. A big set of gleaming white choppers can look very ageing. Particularly on men.

ferretface · 10/12/2020 10:26

Teeth and brows make a surprising amount of difference. Well aligned, white (not day glo) teeth, relatively thick and well defined brows.

IrmaFayLear · 10/12/2020 10:33

What do you do if you have minimal eyebrows? Drawn-in/tattooed ones look terrible.

I agree about the hair weaves. My cousin lost most of her hair due to illness and spends ££££ on weaves. The establishment she goes to has masses of A list clients. Few Caucasian women over 50 have thick luscious locks and celebrities are getting a bit of help in that department.

Belladonna12 · 10/12/2020 10:35

She probably has a lot of beauty treatments and subtle surgery. She was beautiful anyway so will inevitably look better than other women her age.

Simplyunacceptable · 10/12/2020 10:39

I know people will say it’s because she’s rich so has access to the best treatments, make up artists and stylists but do think genetics plays a part too. She wasn’t ugly to begin with which helps Grin.

@ALbigbump

sassbott and IhateBoswell, I’d usually be the first to say that too, but whoever has done the work has done a fantastic job, she looks so natural. I’m a few years younger than her and look at least 15 years older 😩, been putting off Botox for many years as I think it looks obvious on most people from those I’ve seen. I would like a ‘refreshed’ look but wouldn’t know where to start. I agree that lightning and model looks must help though
It only looks unnatural when it's badly done. There are plenty of beautifully refreshed women who look very naturally healthy after a visit to their clinic.
bluebell34567 · 10/12/2020 11:09

chemical peel definitely refreshes the face and it is not a difficult procedure.

I LOVE Gwen Stefani. I just think she is super super cool

Delatron · 10/12/2020 11:49

I think the difference is plenty of celebrities have access to all the best doctors and loads of money. Very few get it right though. Many have bad work or go too far. Think Nicole Kidman who is a similar age. Even Kate Moss was looking slightly over filled recently and not like herself. And I’m a big Kate fan.

We really need to know who her doctor is. If she’s had fillers you can’t really detect them. The Botox is subtle. I’m thinking she’s had lots of laser/radio frequency and peels too.

bluebell34567 · 10/12/2020 12:20

i love Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston but the cosmetics done on them are not very good.

whatswithtodaytoday · 10/12/2020 12:24

I think she's a rare example of someone who hasn't gone too far. It must be difficult to judge, once you start changing your face - so many people look utterly bizarre (not just women -Simon Cowell springs to mind).

There can be no doubt she's had work done, no-one naturally looks like that at her age. But money and contacts have given her access to the absolute best in the business.

I thought Jennifer Aniston's work was subtle? (apart from the nose job she had when she was young).
VinylDetective · 10/12/2020 12:35

@AtLeastThreeDrinks

It's depressing how many posters think she looks like that naturally. No wonder so many women struggle with accepting their looks! Yes she looks amazing but that's money and subtle work.
Absolutely. Good “work” costs a fortune. My friend had her under eye bags done a few years ago. She researched surgeons for a very long time and found the best. The result was amazing, she looked fresher and brighter but you couldn’t put your finger on why. I imagine Tess Daly has spent £££££ in Harley Street, whether on surgery or non invasive treatments.
helloxhristmas · 10/12/2020 12:37

Money. Simple. And having the sense to spend it wisely and not go overboard.

She had a pretty cracking figure and looks to begin with too.

VinylDetective · 10/12/2020 12:37

What do you do if you have minimal eyebrows? Drawn-in/tattooed ones look terrible

Not if they’re done properly. If they’re done by the right person you can’t tell.

whynotwhen · 10/12/2020 12:42

I'm trying to teach myself to smile like Tess in photos, if you notice her smile never reaches her eyes so she has less of a crinkled up face. It's a very measured smile probably from years of practise being a celeb

GreenlandTheMovie · 10/12/2020 12:44

I think posters are under-estimating the effect of chemical peels and over-estimating the effect of fillers. Fillers generally produce that odd distended lower face look and fake lip line which Trinny is currently spouting. Tess doesn't look like that - she looks more natural. 50 really isn't so old that women cannot be attractive and still look relatively youthful.

IMHO a lot of filler is very noticable, doesn't look good and is quite ageing. It affects the basic proportions of the face if over-used, so I would say Tess really hasn't had a lot of filler.

Or the lip fillers mean she can't smile any more up. Not a criticism, I'm about 99% convinced to get then.
