I figured it can't hurt to share here (rather than on local Facebook groups!).

Mine are:
Sainsburys: Mini breaded cambemberts (bloody hell they're good!).
Aldi: Torro Loco red wine, and "extra special" cauliflower cheese
M&S: Dulce de leche truffles

All very healthy as you can see....

Oh and the Aldi ham, mushroom and mascarpone pizza also deserves a special shout out. 😍

Aldi garlic mayo. On eeeeeeeeverything. Also very healthy Grin

Qpobb · 21/11/2020 20:38

Oooh garlic mayo. I haven't tried that! I'm going to use this thread to make a list as inspo for my next shop...

Aldi moser roth (I think!) chocolate - it’s like Lindt but a fraction of the cost. Asda clementine juice and Co-op extra special salt and vinegar crisps are amazing too.

AgeLikeWine · 21/11/2020 20:47

I don’t know how secret it is, but Lidl’s Black Forest ham is delicious, and their Greek style natural yogurt is the both the. best and the cheapest.

My local big Sainsbury’s has recently started stocking Schneider Weisse, a delicious wheat beer from Munich. As far as I’m aware, they are the only supermarket to sell it.

FlatulentSproutEater · 21/11/2020 20:54

I'll second the Moser Roth chocolate. It's really good - the dark chocolate chilli and the dark chocolate sea salt are particularly good.

They've also just introduced dark chocolate buttons. Do not buy them or you will never ever stop eating them!

dinodiva · 21/11/2020 20:56

Lidl twix. So much nicer than real twix.

everybodyknowsus · 21/11/2020 20:57

Unearthed Spanish omlette.

RickOShay · 21/11/2020 20:57

Co op crunchy peanut butter is the best and it’s in a glass jar.

Iamnotminterested · 21/11/2020 20:57

@Qpobb

Yes!

MrsGEW1 · 21/11/2020 20:59

I second Toro Loco wine in Aldi!

AragonsGirl · 21/11/2020 21:01

Macaraca Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from Aldi. £4.99 a bottle, bargain!

I got some of this in the spring, thought is was a special, and haven't seen it again since. My kids don't like it so I've had it all to myself - and just run out 😕
MKCH · 21/11/2020 21:03

@Qpobb

I am currently drinking the oh-so-expensive -£3.99- Toro Loco and I had the ham, mushroom and mascarpone pizza for lunch, along with their new Sri Lankan chicken pizza (also delish). Good taste 😉

My addition - Aldi Cheese & Dill Salmon Wellington (frozen section). Sounds a bit weird. Tastes DIVINE.

Also Aldi currently have honeysuckle and rose shower gel and body butter - I'm fully intending on buying these for all my female family members and friends for Christmas, and I'm going to stockpile.

Rachellow · 21/11/2020 21:03

Lidl's fake version of chocolate banana flake yogurt is nicer than the real one from Muller

Threeforagirl · 21/11/2020 21:03

Tesco finest aioli tastes like the dominos pizza garlic dip. A jar gets demolished every time we do homemade pizzas...

MKCH · 21/11/2020 21:05

OOOH also the Co-op Indian Naan Chip Selection (crisps). Lovely.

marriednotdead · 21/11/2020 21:05

Lidl prawns, both the cocktail and the tail on versions. Nothing like them anywhere and cheaper than their poor imitations.

Lidl milk chocolate with hazelnuts in the plastic bag rather than the card packaging- it’s supposed to be a sharing bar. Yeah right.

SydneyCarton · 21/11/2020 21:07

I second the Co-Op posh salt and vinegar crisps, they’re delicious 😋

Not a food product, but Tesco carpet and upholstery cleaner has worked bloody miracles on my beige carpet over the years while weaning three babies Shock

Labobo · 21/11/2020 21:08

Waitrose frozen vegetable gyoza. Crisp them up in a pan with a drop of sesame or wok oil (Waitrose wok oil another great secret.)

TheFlis12345 · 21/11/2020 21:10

Tesco own brand harissa is far nicer than any fancy brand I have tried. Also, Tesco Finest Prosecco is lovely and often on offer.

buckeejit · 21/11/2020 21:12

Lidl fresh pesto is amazing.

M&S florentines are delicious.

Love these type of threads

kazza446 · 21/11/2020 21:15

I’m just following as I’m a fat bitch who loves food 🤣

ellephant · 21/11/2020 21:17

Currently drinking an Aldi specially selected NZ Chardonnay which is my current go-to wine, it's lovely.
Aldi prawn cocktail crisps are better than walkers imo.
Perhaps off topic but another Aldi recommendation is their No.1 (my personal favourite) and No.3 hand washes - great Jo Malone dupes, the fragrance lasts!

ssd · 21/11/2020 21:18

Lidl cheese slces with pepper
