I figured it can't hurt to share here (rather than on local Facebook groups!).

Mine are:
Sainsburys: Mini breaded cambemberts (bloody hell they're good!).
Aldi: Torro Loco red wine, and "extra special" cauliflower cheese
M&S: Dulce de leche truffles

All very healthy as you can see....

These are all from Lidl.
Chili Cornichons, crunchy and slightly sweet.
Mini chocolate ice lolly selection, perfection.
Red Fox mature Red Leicester, you can buy it elsewhere but it's cheap here and usually in stock.
Dry Roast Peanuts, really crunchy and not overkill with the flavour.
Indian Ground Coffee, bliss, rich and chocolatey.
Xmas wrapping paper. 99p. Thick.

PSA

Just tried the coop fancy salt & vinegar crisps. OMG! So so good & I'm normally a Cheese & onion girl.

On offer 2 for £2 atm too.

If anyone is in NI the new shindigs crisps from Glens of Antrim potatoes are epic! Yes. I like crisps.

Does anyone have any tried & tested turkey recommendations from the supermarkets?

chillimartini · 15/12/2020 23:35

ALDI pumpkin seed and cheese crackers

RedRum27 · 21/12/2020 16:43

Truffle pesto from M & S and satay dipping sauce from Tesco

Aldi special salted crisps
Aldi spinach and ricotta thin pizza (frozen)
Aldi Greek yoghurt 10%

I shop at M and S and Aldi 😂

NearWildHeaven · 01/01/2021 11:38

Had the Aldi breakfast sausage patties this morning recommended here. Seem to have gone down well!

kiki275 · 01/01/2021 11:48

Sainsbury's Chunky Cod or Haddock Fish Fingers. They are amazing x

GellerYeller · 01/01/2021 11:52

Lots of love for Aldi sausage patties here for replicating McMuffins!
Ecover stain remover is brilliant stuff. Only ever see it in Waitrose these days.
Waitrose cranberry sauce; dry and tangy rather than sugary and jam like. Brilliant with cheese.
Aldi vegetable crisps, full fat yogurts, nutty muesli, almond milk-all good as or superior to branded versions and much cheaper.
Sainsburys clementine bucks fizz, only in at Christmas sadly. Really fruity.

Jemimapuddleduk · 01/01/2021 11:58

Tesco wicked kitchen vegan pesto- love the beetroot and cashew one.
Sainsburys blueberry cheese cake.

Jemimapuddleduk · 01/01/2021 11:59

Sainsburys lightly dusted lemon sole portions, gorgeous.
Great with their frozen mushy pea portions.

slug · 01/01/2021 12:13

My local Tesco has started stocking the Yo Sushi sirracha mayonnaise. It's currently sold out but not before I managed to hoard a bottle for DD to take back with her to university.

Bloodhoundgang · 01/01/2021 16:11

Sainsburys haddock fishcakes. The slightly pricier ones (usu 2.50 but often 2 quid). Absolutely lovely.

likeamillpond · 01/01/2021 16:22

This is NOT doing my diet any good.
First bloody day an all.

Toomanycats99 · 01/01/2021 16:24

@Bloodhoundgang

I love all that range but the king prawn and lemongrass ones (rice not potato) are my favourite.

hMG206 · 01/01/2021 16:29

I tried the Iceland XL nuggets (for the kids obvs) as everyone said they were like McDonald’s.

Behave, they were well better !

Iceland frozen chicken stuff is always good!!

ChristmasUserName2020 · 01/01/2021 16:45

The Granini peach juice sold in Sainsbury’s is fab. The Aldi onion rings are also amazing!! Plus a Special shout out to Gallo Family Spritz Raspberry And Lime rose (tastes like drumstick lollies)

midnightstar66 · 01/01/2021 16:49

Lidl breaded camemberts are also amazing. The fresh ones, they come with a little cranberry dip too- frozen ones aren't so good and tend to burst while cooking. Tesco creamfields Brie, Aldi chilli oatcakes.

midnightstar66 · 01/01/2021 16:51

Also Lidl cashews and pistachio nuts are significantly cheaper than anywhere else

midnightstar66 · 01/01/2021 16:57

Oh and Asda smart price Jaffa cakes are superior to all others

I thought of this thread when I found these in Aldi today. The porcini mushroom and truffle ones are divine, had them for lunch today.

Also a fan of their salted pretzel chocolate And West Country butter with sea salt crystals in a black packaging 😍

@ReallySpicyCurry

For the love of fuck why doesn't aldi come over to NI already
Exactly !!! Why don't they??
Thelnebriati · 20/02/2021 23:38

Batts barbeque sauce and ketchup. Its about 40p from Lidl.

SugarfreeBlitz · 21/02/2021 00:43

@BeardieWeirdie

Aldi moser roth (I think!) chocolate - it’s like Lindt but a fraction of the cost. Asda clementine juice and Co-op extra special salt and vinegar crisps are amazing too.
Aldi Moser Roth chocs are way better than Lindt! The raspberry truffles with raspberry "dust" are my fave. Love the crunch and flavour! I havent seen them for a while though (fortunately for my waistline)
