I figured it can't hurt to share here (rather than on local Facebook groups!).

Mine are:
Sainsburys: Mini breaded cambemberts (bloody hell they're good!).
Aldi: Torro Loco red wine, and "extra special" cauliflower cheese
M&S: Dulce de leche truffles

All very healthy as you can see....

Salmon on crutches 😂 what is this delight?

GinAtMerlottes · 21/11/2020 22:35

Also enjoying Aldi beef and horseradish crisps, anyone who is still hankering after brannigans roast beef and mustard crisps should try them!!

Salmon en Croute for the educated M'dear. LOL

Morrison's cloudy apple juice 😍

Lidl jellybeans - the sour ones.

I have developed quite a problem

RosesAndHellebores · 21/11/2020 22:53

I like lots of Sainsbury things and have really missed their now closed patisserie counter for fruit tarts, cheesecakes, pavlovas and gateaux.

However, slightly left field but a shout out please for TU knickers. Half the price compared to the other well known purveyor of lingerie and they are softer, more comfy and wash better - and wear better.

SunshineCake · 21/11/2020 22:57

@Threeforagirl

Tesco finest aioli tastes like the dominos pizza garlic dip. A jar gets demolished every time we do homemade pizzas...
Best post on the thread.
WouldstrokeTomHardy · 21/11/2020 22:57

Morrisons own brand chocolate mini rolls. Ten for a pound and very moorish. Morrisons own brand tomato soup. So much better than the leading brand.

NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy · 21/11/2020 23:06

Aldi baked Camembert with chorizo- serve with a bottle of their TL and their biscuits for cheese Grin

didireallysaythat · 21/11/2020 23:07

Now see what you have all done.

I don't live anywhere near an Aldi but now I'm going to have to make a trip. So I'd appreciate it if you'd all put your entries in one list, preferably in the order in which I'll find them as I walk around the store with my 3 trollies.

snidgetowl · 21/11/2020 23:08

Another vote for the Co-op salt and vinegar crisps, the best I've ever tasted! We've moved now so Co-op isn't our local shop, but still make an extra trip just to get them.
In terms of sweet things, the Lidl brownies from the bakery, at something like 29p each are divine! The Lidl jaffa cakes are also so much nicer than the real ones.

BringMeTea · 21/11/2020 23:13

Co-op salt n vinegar crisps of dreams are on 2 for £2 at the moment.

Wildrobin · 21/11/2020 23:23

Haven’t RTFT but would love someone to write this all in a list under each shop’s name!! So inspiring .

We love a cheese called Pie d’Angloise from Sainsburies and M&S’ own brand chocolate which I often can’t find.

Also addicted to Waitrose potted shrimps which is bad as expensive and a tiny pot. My mum says better to make them as you just need shrimps , butter and mace or something

pollyglot · 21/11/2020 23:31

Aragonsgirl : Macaraca Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from Aldi. £4.99 a bottle, bargain!
Wow! That's less than I pay here in the home of Marlborough Sauv Blanc!

pollyglot · 21/11/2020 23:35

Though pardon my pedandry - it's "Makaraka" (Maori, not Spanish)

JaffaJaffJaffpussycatpuss · 21/11/2020 23:40

Tesco finest bronze die linguine (made by expensive brand diMartino family who make their own pasta)
Tinned peaches in juice
Rummo bronze die linguine
Brioche rolls
Aldi teddy faces (knock off Pom Bears)
Aldi Homestyle fries in the green bag
Soy protein frozen imitation mince
Wasabi peas from anywhere
Cashew nuts and pine nuts and dried apricots from Aldi are cheaper than anywhere I know.
Aldi breaded chicken pieces (fresh, not frozen) but be sure to get the ones only made of chicken breast not of formed cuts unless that's what you want.
Aldi chocolate cheesecake.

SynchroSwimmer · 21/11/2020 23:49

M&S Truffle mash

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 21/11/2020 23:50

Breaded Camembert from Lidl. It used to be in Aldi too but now I can only find it Lidl. Comes with a little pot of loganberry 🤤

MrsDaisy2 · 21/11/2020 23:51

Aldi sell a Belgian chocolate cheesecake. It's out of this world! They also sell mushroom and garlic risotto, it's in a packet, just add water, delicious. It's the only supermarket within walking distance from us so I'm very familiar with the products.

listsandbudgets · 21/11/2020 23:54

Lidl coconut yogurt. Its so thick and coconutty its almost like eating a really good quality ice cream except its yogurt

surlycurly · 22/11/2020 00:04

OMG I'm starving now. I'm going to Aldi tomorrow!!

supersplodge · 22/11/2020 00:05

Havent RTFT so apologies if already mentioned - but Lidl do amazing boxes of chocolate ginger at Christmas time. We bought several last year and they were yummy, then realised they were a seasonal item. Went in last week and they're back!!

It's a flat, square orange box called Deluxe fairtrade dark chocolate gingers, £1.99 a box. You get 9 in a box and they are huge! Ginger chocs seem harder and harder to find these days anyway, so this year I bought about 12 boxes - for us, for presents and for granny to give to people. Yum!

heidipi · 22/11/2020 00:23

Has anyone said Aldi Organic Prosecco? It got us through the first lockdown a bit too well.

Also Aldi fish pie is better than anywhere else including M&S according to DP and DD's extensive research. Also the multipack 'light' crinkle crisps are amazing.

WouldstrokeTomHardy · 22/11/2020 00:38

Can I ask as an Aldi virgin if the cooked and fresh meat is British?
