To think that Trump is not going to get re-elected?

There are still a few fringe types who think he’s going to get a landslide victory.

Personally I find this unlikely.

Any MNers from across the pond have a view more informed than myself?

Trump should not be allowed on Twitter - he keeps posting and they are all getting the disclaimer on them about this claim about election fraud is disputed.

WATCH FOR MASSIVE BALLOT COUNTING ABUSE AND, JUST LIKE THE EARLY VACCINE, REMEMBER I TOLD YOU SO!

MerchantOfVenom · 10/11/2020 17:23

Then why not do the audits? If you are confident there’s no widespread fraud, then allow the recounts and, more importantly, audits to regain trust.

There are audit processes in place.

Why not bring the evidence of voter fraud into play?

If you are confident there has been widespread voter fraud, present the evidence.

Im guessing they're bringing court cases then deliberately fucking them up so they can loudly shout 'THEY WOULDNT EVEN LET US TEST IT IN COURT', rather than have the cases go through normally and get the obvious verdict that they;re talking shit.

Keep a bloody firm hand on those credit cards OP, dont let him give to the right wing grift

Kljnmw3459 · 10/11/2020 17:41

In some ways this will be a continuation of the past 4 years, or maybe even more than that. Just that the sides have switched. I do hop Biden will be able to unite some factions but it seems unlikely.

Parker231 · 10/11/2020 18:54

I think Trump will need evicting ! The U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo says there will be a "smooth transition to a second Trump administration”.

MerchantOfVenom · 10/11/2020 20:14

The problem is the US constitution was set up by men who assumed those to follow would be ‘honourable gentlemen’ and play by the rules.

Joe Biden and the Dems play by the rules.

Trump doesn’t. Never has, and certainly isn’t about to start now.

He will not concede. Not in a million years.

So the Dems are going to have to think about some different tactics to just move past this bullsh!t once and for all.

Anon778833 · 10/11/2020 21:05

What's going to happen? Will Trump be dragged, kicking and screaming from the White House? 🤣

There will be nail-marks on the door frames.

US politics has always been dirty. That’s why they call Trump ‘Jacksonian’. Not many gentlemen can be found (although I think Jimmy Carter is an exception).
Parker231 · 11/11/2020 10:25

Trump’s Twitter posts are hilarious- good entertainment!

Anon778833 · 11/11/2020 10:57

Apparently, Melania is one of the few people he actually listens to and she might be the only person who can get him to concede.

OP posts:
ThatIsNotMyUsername · 11/11/2020 11:41

I would have thought he might listen to Ivanka more than Melania.

Kljnmw3459 · 11/11/2020 12:16

Anyone who is reported to convince Trump to concede will be seen as a traitor by the trump voters so probably nobody wants to do it.

Anon778833 · 11/11/2020 14:00

Yes, I agree. I mean who knows what the truth is but certainly Melania is no bimbo. Trumps older children reportedly tried to persuade her to move into the White House with him when he was elected because of her apparent calming influence on him.

Secret service supposedly have a plan to get him out with force

user1471565182 · 11/11/2020 14:19

And basically the whole army has just sent a message pledging allegiance to Biden

Anon778833 · 11/11/2020 15:07

Good, it's high time this shit show was over. The unrest and stupid talk about voting fraud is bad for America and by extension the rest of the world.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 11/11/2020 15:21

It will continue for at least another month before the votes are finalised.

Anon778833 · 11/11/2020 15:41

Yes. This is where the growth of the internet actually causes more problems than it solves.

None-the-less, all previous presidents have had a healthy respect for democracy, and the peaceful transition of power.

Most notable is the most recent one-term president, Bush Snr. Who, instead of snivelling, whining, tweeting and raging, left his successor a heart-felt welcome not, hoping for his success.

Believe me, I can’t believe I’m trotting out a Bush for praise, either. But here we are.

  • Welcome note.
ThatIsNotMyUsername · 11/11/2020 17:20

I shudder to think what gift trump will give the Biden as a moving in gift. The Obama’s have the trumps a Tiffany box (with a picture frame in it).

I am minded of what Sharon Osborne (Reportedly) used to send to people in a Tiffany box when she was displeased...
