What height do you consider to be tall?

For both, a woman and a man...

I'm 5ft10 and my partner is 6ft3, I wouldn't have called us tall until I noticed he is alot taller than most men I see and I tower most women when they aren't in high heels... But yet I don't feel tall 😂

5’9” for a woman and 6’ for a man, DH and I are both 5’10, I am tall and he is slightly above average height.

Thanks for that. Apparently I'm 'extremely tall' - 99.988 centile. 'Extremely' sounds a bit dramatic. 😂

I am "kinda tall"

I'd love to be tall. I'm 5'2.5 that half inch is important I am slim and wear a wedge heels mostly so don't look as small as I am then I remove my shoes and disappear.

Women- five foot eleven and up.
Men- six foot three.

One of DD (14) friends is about 5'7 or 5'8 but DD says she doesnt stand out for being tall at school, and there are lots of girls taller. DD is 5ft.

I'm 5ft 4 so perceive women 5ft 7 to be tall. 6ft is a good height for a man, I'd describe it as quite tall and anything over as just tall.

Women 5’ 10’ and above man 6’ 3’ and above. I am 6ft DS 16 and DH are both 6’ 4’.

I'm 5'8 and my brother is 6ft. I'd describe us as quite tall if asked but it wouldn't be the first descriptor that came to mind. 5'10 / 6'2 I would describe as tall and one of the first few things I'd tell police if the burglar was running into a crowd, say. 6'0 /6'4 - very tall.
Mind you, a tall American friend in Dublin used to bemoan the fact that we are a nation of shorties when she was looking for a bf. I don't think the Dutch would think my "very tall" heights as particularly distinguishing at all!

I think over 5ft 5 for a woman and 6ft for a man is tall

We have a lot of tall men in our family so I may be out on the men!

I would say about 5ft 8 for a woman and around 5 10/6 ft for a man. I am 5 ft 0 though ,so dont know anyone male or female shorter than me LOL!

I'm 5ft 8 and 37 yo, I was always the tallest girl at school and feel tall compared to many other women my age, but short compared to teens now who definitely seem to be getting taller.

My DD is only 6 but tall for her age, I'm guessing she'll be a couple of inches taller than me by the time she's grown.

I would say 5'7 and up is tall for women and 5" 10 and up for men. 6' very tall for women and 6'3 very tall for men

My DP is 5.10 and I consider him tall as I'm only 5.4.

Same here. (I’m 5 foot 7 and seem at the tall end of average for my friends).

5ft8" for women and 6ft for me.

I'm hovering somewhere around 5ft2".

About 5'8" for a woman and 6'2" for a man, I think. I'm aware that most people think 6'0" is tall, but I happen to have been surrounded by men who are slightly taller than that all my life. DH is 6'4", DS2 is 6'2" and poor old DS1, who is about 6'0", actually seems shortish to me, although I'm a lot shorter.
