I wish there was an edit button. I posted the wrong link for the craft subscription box.
It’s www.makebox.co/

Thanks to those who posted a referral for simply cook! Free box on its way.
I'd love a box for the kids (DSS5 and DSD9) that they could share but I have no idea where to start! I feel that the science ones will be lost on the youngest. They do like craft but I'd like something that's also educational. Any recommendations?

I used to get hello fresh. I loved eating and making something different without all the faff of shopping for it. As a single person the smallest box would make 3 meals for 2. Which is worth it if you separate the meals and have one for lunch the next day or something. I used to get every other week, this was good, you could just skip weeks or put a hold to the subscription. No wastage of ingredients either

Montezuma chocolate club subscription - bought it for DH's birthday but it was basically for me (I bought him other stuff as well!) It was £99 I think for 6 months and it's different each month and always lovely chocolate. 3 big bars a d three lots of truffles. If we weren't complete pigs it would last for a couple of weeks.

DH has a Bluecoffeebox subscription as a gift from my parents. He is tricky to buy for and we both love this. 3 different packs of ground coffee monthly with some information about each one. We try and save it for weekends as a treat. I think we are on his 3rd 6 month subscription now...long may it continue.

And I have a magazine subscription for Empire Movie Mag which I always forget about so is a nice surprise.

I have a monthly flower delivery from Bloom and Wild. Such a treat to get beautiful flowers in the post. This code will give anyone who wants it £10 off, and I also get a reward.

I get Hello Fresh every month or so, some of us are fussy here and sometimes can’t find 3 recipes that suit us.
I also get simply cook, every 6 weeks for £6.99. I find that there isn’t an amazing choice in recipes, and once again, fussiness means that we get the same 6ish meals in roatation. However, absolutely adore Louisiana linguine and I’d be happy with 4 boxes of that
Off to look at oddbox..

We have Gousto, we have started skipping weeks purely because of cost since our new membership discount run out but honestly we haven't had a bad meal yet. Its like restaurant quality at home and has really put the love back into cooking for me even on the days where we don't have a Gousto box I feel like I've learnt lots.
I also have a beautypie box monthly, love it.

We get Oddbox and I love it. We used to get Riverford but you get some really weird veg (kohlrabi, anyone).
Oddbox is stuff that can’t be sold through the supermarkets for being the wrong shape/size so it’s mostly normal stuff you don’t have to think too much about how to use.
hollieberrie · 28/04/2020 07:40
Freddies Flowers here too, once every 3 weeks.
Also an Abel and Cole pantry box and a fruit box.. i started during lockdown as I've been unwell and couldn't get out. Expensive but lovely and the convenience is amazing, especially as I dont drive. I'll.prob carry them on for the rest of this year then stop.
BlackberryViolet · 28/04/2020 07:49
Freddie’s flowers here as well. I love having flowers in the house. Once a week or every other week. Also Knitcrate, yarn and patterns every month. Riverford for veg boxes. Who Gives a Crap for loo rolls. I never through I would be grateful to have a bog roll subscription!
EasyPeasyHappyCheesy · 28/04/2020 07:56
We get the spicery subscription. £5 (might have gone up we have had it years). We live it as can keep it and do it when we need, can change between subscriptions easily based on what is available for the month and has really increased our r repertoire of what we cook. Best of all the customer service at the company has always been fantastic. Ask them a question and they will come back with bells and whistles.
